Who can beat Matt Hughes?
I can not think of one person who can stand a chance against him

Pele has shown that he has the ability to beat Matt. He ko'd Matt once already, but Matt was controlling the fight for the most part. If they were to fight again, I see Hughes GnPing to a TKO or decision, but Pele has got his striker's chance. If he were to catch Matt with a knee it would be lights out.

Hallman. NO

Hallman has beaten Hughes twice but I don't think he'd stand a chance if they fought a third time. I see Hughes by total domination.

Pele is now fighting at 185lbs. If he comes to the UFC (IF) He would be fighting for the middleweight title.
I want to see him fight Sakurai again, Hallman for the third time, and Frank Trigg.
Now, Trigg is probably going to ask for 3.5 million of some other ridiculous amount to fight Hughes and then bitch and moan about the UFC not wanting to give him a chance, that is how Trigg is.

I think he'll eventually move to MW and there he'll dominate still. Pele, Lindland, Baroni and Menne, none of these guys will beat him, but they may give him a hard time. Busta, Shamrock and maybe Sak could beat him, but I highly doubt any of thsoe fights will ever happen, if they do, it'll be a long time off. Even in the LHW's Hughes would be a problem, always a contender and never a champ, but still totally bad ass.

I think he'll get his ass handed to him at 185. 170 is his optimum weight.

170 is ideal for his abilities and style. He can manhandle the guys at that weight like kids. 185 would be a test, but he would still be alright. He is a strength freak

He could fight at 185 easily. I think he could beat Bustamante at 185, or Shamrock. Hughes is a machine. IMO, the best P4P in the world
