Hearns was an excellent underrated boxer with tremendous reach and incredible power. He also had a glass jaw and weak legs. Calzaghe has taken shots from bigger men with comparable strength but not necessarily the quick power shot. Calzaghe gets more feisty when hit and hit hard, Hearns would go to the canvas with an equally hard shot. Calzaghe would recover, Hearns would not. My money would go on Calzaghe in this super middle weight fight. Anything under middle weight would have the fight of their life against Hearns. Only Leonard could beat him under middleweight.
