Well 2 days ago I was sparring a kid
that had on some really beat up everlast 14 oz gloves,
they really were about 10-12 oz at the most due to them being beat up and used up.
I didnt want to sound like a girl and confront him
about them so I sparred with him anyway.
Id say it was about the 4th round towards
the last 10 seconds of the round he caught me
with a straight right with his ****ed up gloves to the nose.
It bled a little and stopped but it stung for a while,
no noises or nothing just hurt just a little bit when
I touched it or messed with it. It feels a little sore now
and Ive never had a broken nose or a crooked one.
My friends told me that It looks broke,
but It just feels a little sore infact barley sore.
Im really really mad about myself and mad at my skills period.

I dont think it's Broken.

It doesn't look broken; it's probably just bruised, and often after getting hit, your nose will be a little swollen.

I've been boxing 2-3 times per week for nearly 2 years now, and I have yet to witness anyone getting a broken nose from sparring. I've seen probably a hundred nosebleeds and at least that many bruised noses, but broken noses are extremely rare outside of actual bouts. You have to really nail someone to break their nose.

I had mine broken when a big piece of wood -- a 4X4, 8 feet long -- kicked back off a radial arm saw a few years ago, and it knocked me unconscious and broke my hand -- it actually broke my nose with my hand. It was a tremendous blow; the wood dented the door six feet behind me.

A bruised nose hurts like hell, though. If it's still tender after a few days, go to a doctor. Don't spar again until it's healed completely.

it's not broken, i've had my nose broken twice, it swells up huge and looks like raw hamburger and bleeds everywhere

Within time after many fights and sparring it'll end up a bit crooked and the swelling with be 2 times worse and be perminant and the under side of your nose will stay crooked and at the end you may end up breathing only through on nostrial for much of the day.

And after a couple of years of boxing, you will snore so loud that your wife swears it's like sleeping in the gorilla exhibit at the zoo. :puppy_dog

If he'd broken your nose you'd know trust me, your eyes would be watering like crazy and your nose would be twice its normal size.
