This would be a great fight! I can see Frazier knocking down Louis early in the fight, but Louis would come back to win by SD.

it depends really, if louis doesnt come out trying to get frazier outta there early its going to cost him the fight, cause frazier only gets better in the later rounds.

Really I don't know, but a lot of writers have said pressure fighters bothered Louis more than anything; certainly he didn't fight anything like Frazier.

At first glance, automatically you would think that the all time great Joe Louis beats the much beloved Joe Frazier.
But if you think about this match up, and remember that "styles make fights", then ask yourself this question. Who was the better fighter, Joe Frazier or Tony Galento? If 2 ton Tony was able to drop Louis, what would that hook that hit Jimmy Ellis and Muhammad Ali do? Also, keep in mind that Frazier got up every time he was ever knocked down. That man just keeps coming and coming. Talk about pressure! Wow! Something else, their weights would be real close to each other. No David vs Goliath match up here. Also, look how close Frazier kept his three fights with Ali. Ali certainly didn't dominate him at all, so the idea of outboxing him holds little validity.

I think Joe Louis was the over all better fighter. But in this particular match up, I think Joe Frazier would be a very dangerous opponant for Louis.

You know I actually think Frazier could pull this off. He will be all over Louis from the first bell and will continue to apply pressure for as long as he is able to stand.

Can't choose but i think Louis could do better than people think.

joe louis.joe was probably as big a puncher if not bigger than foreman,his hands were faster as well,joe ko in the first.there is no feeling out in this fight.

yeah but i think Marciano was harder to hit than Frazier.
