I think Dokes was at his best in 1982. Berbick's best slot was 1985-1986. Usually, I know in my head how these fights would go. For this one, I went back and reviewed their fight records cause in my head it was so close.

I think Berbick beat the bigger names. Dokes only lost to the upper echalon fighter, but every time he was KOed, it looked like he got killed.

Man, what a close match up. I liked Dokes better than Berbick. But my head says that in their prime, Berbick W12.
