You guys think the Secret Weapon get's the next shot at Hughes? The matchup makes sense after Spratt beat Lawler, and I can't think of anyone else currently on the UFC roster that would be more deserving of a shot.

Pele would be great, but he needs at least 1 fight before getting Hughes.

I think Hughes would own Spratt, I don't think he could stop Hughes from GnP'ing his way to victory, but I'd be rooting for Spratt all the way. Zen loves the strikers.

I don't think there is anyone at welterweight that can beat Hughes right now

I thought Spratt would win. He's a refined striking machine, while Lawler is an undisciplined punching maniac.

I think Ruthless still has a great future in MMA, loss's build a fighter more than victories, but he was getting way to much credit without facing any real stiff competition. He'll go back to the drawing board and come back better than ever IMHO.

It's a bad match-up for Spratt. Hughes is a world-class wrestler, whereas Lawler was just a glorified brawler. Hughes' strength is his wrestling, not his standup, so he'll know better not to trade with Spratt. If they ever fought, he'll easily take Spratt down, ground and pound him, open up a cut and force a stoppage. There's no way he'd trade with Spratt. He's not stupid.

Hughes by total domination.
