View Full Version : Right you Aussie cunts...who you got..
mickeyb 12-04-2007, 05:31 PM The black loudmouth or the white fat man?
Come on!?!
Who we got.
My money (and points) are on the fatty.
COME ON HATTON!
I reckon he'll pull of a shock victory and his hard aggressive attack will give PBF to many problems over 12 rounds... much as did Castillo (who won PBF in my book) AND DLH did in the earlier rounds before he tired.
Hatton by UD/SD over the 12 rounds obvs.
State your reasons and answers boys! xx
Dick-Sucker 12-04-2007, 05:42 PM I see Floyd continuing his quest for greatness. A wide UD.
infestacide 12-04-2007, 09:17 PM i want hatton to win because i hate pbf's attitude, but i have a feeling pbf will get on his bicycle and pot shot and catch hatton coming in and win a ud.

Agreed! Floyd will be running at WR pace around the ring! The guy should be track star. Hatton has to swarm the SOB like Dempsey right from the get-go and not give Floyd time to breathe. Hatton's gonna need to be in the shape of his life if he's gonna be able to do this which means NO full strength pints or fatty English breakfasts leading up to this. His nutritionist is going to need to keep Hatton under 24hr surveillance so he doesn't pig-out before the fight!
PBF fosuree!!! pbf will b too fast for hatton. UD decision for floyd. 9 rounds to 3 in favour of floyd.
Dick-Sucker 12-05-2007, 12:19 AM Don't forget Floyd is the naturally bigger guy aswell. Even if he fights on the inside i can still see Floyd winning. That may sound a bit weird though. Hattons got to frustrate him early to win.
mgkirkpatrick 12-05-2007, 01:04 AM i just dont know. ill say floyd by UD.. but i cant get confident about it for some reason.
brently1979 12-05-2007, 05:08 AM I've not Floyd on points. Hope you haven't forgotten our bet.
tills9191 12-05-2007, 07:03 AM no idea on who will win this.

I don't think Floyd needs to be on the bike too much in this fight.
Ricky isn't the size of Oscar.
Comfortable UD for PBF
mickeyb 12-05-2007, 04:16 PM Wish i'd never started this thread!
All votes for blackie, none for fatty. :(!!
mgkirkpatrick 12-06-2007, 04:53 AM alot of people are neglecting to mention that whilst floyd looked good enough at 154.. hatton was pretty shite in his one outing above 140..
hollow 12-08-2007, 01:06 AM My heart hopes Hatton ko, my mind says Mayweather by UD (sadly).
I don't know if it will be a clinic or a close fight (a lot of this imo will depend on how much Hatton can land in the early rounds, and take Floyd's legs away from him). Conditioning won't play a factor since both boxers are work horses, but if Ricky lands enough to the body, Mayweathers movement will be slowed sufficiently to allow for maybe a sweet left hook to connect and send him to the canvas. However, having said that, PBF is a more skilled boxer, he's faster on his feet and with his hands, he can (and probably will) use the philly shell well to counter Hattons vicious bodyshots (the lower lead hand covers the body well), and then quickly counter with jabs and hooks of his own, ending the night in a convincing 12 round UD.
mickeyb 12-08-2007, 06:25 AM i had a dream last night that Hatton got KO'd...:(!!!
Times are getting desperate.

Shit - what loto numbers you like for next week here in Oz? :)
brently1979 12-09-2007, 08:03 AM Time to pay up Mickey....
woftam 12-09-2007, 04:21 PM Thanks for payment Mickey :fing02:
Wish Vbookie was as quick.
mickeyb 12-09-2007, 05:15 PM its ok. gotta pay teh debts up. Its only points!
its the real money bets which are upsetting to pay! haha.
I haven't actually talked about hatton on here yet...
I thought he did brilliant first few rounds...but in hindsight i think PBF was just reading him. Come round 6 - mayweather shut him down. Chewed him up and spat him out.
Hatton did well though. I really need to watch the fight again cos i was so drunk, shouting at the screen, jumping around. Head in hands, banging walls!
****, i was in a rite state.
brently1979 12-09-2007, 06:12 PM Thanks for paying up Bro. Cheers.
Brunswick Assassin 12-09-2007, 08:35 PM Hey mickeyb! In reply to your thread topic "Right you Aussie cunts..."! Hey, we might be Aussies BUT were NOT cunts!
woftam 12-10-2007, 01:12 AM I gotta be honest here
I thought this was a really easy bet to win from the start.
I know the Brits wanted to get behind their boy, but the confidence they showed in Ricky being victorious made me smile a bit. I thought - not a chance in hell. Floyds a prat but he's a brilliant boxer and was always going to be too slick and classy in my mind.
From now on Ricky is going to need to keep his hands up when he rushes in because I lost count of the amount of times he copped one flush trying to force the face. Future opponents will certainly have noted it.
Having said that there are still some big fights in store for Hatton if he wants them and basically anyone else he fights will be a drop in class from Floyd, so I certainly don't think he should retire.
Stay at 140 & dominate. He has a big payday put away now.
brently1979 12-10-2007, 02:21 AM Interesting. Floyd showed us yesterday that he would have beaten Kostya. Kostya couldn't handle Hatton, but Mayweather did more than handle him, don't get me wrong I like KT, but Mayweather would have beaten him.

No doubt about it - Floyd would have given Kostya similar grief.

Thanks for being realistic about it. So many other can't. Stay away from NON STOP boxing for the next few days if you've got any thing bad to say about Hatton, most of the Brits are taking the loss very badly.

Can't deny reality.
P.S I think i'll take your advice and stay away fron NSB for a while after todays read.

Huh?! You say something about Rick!! HUH!
LEAVE HIM ALONE!
WE STILL LOVE YOU RICKY!!!! :puppy_dog
mickeyb 12-10-2007, 04:37 AM Floyd easily outclassed Hatton. I can admit it.
Still, hell of a fight though. Them two boys put a brilliant show.
I want to see it again to be honest, i was to engrossed in it to analyse it properly.
This morning my co-worker said the same thing as you Brently - that Ricky kept dropping his hand and taking heavy shots on the way in. He said he counted it numerous times.
I don't think the Brits are taking it THAT badly!! Its not like when DLH and PBF happened! - you haven't got cries that PBF cheated...or that he didn't deserve to win... or that Hatton is still the better man. No calls for a rematch!
Still... the whole country is dissapointed. But not that Ricky lost, but dissapointed at what could have been.
