View Full Version : falklands could be invaded again
duffgun 12-03-2007, 08:40 AM I have read several news reports recently that Argentina have been spending a lot more money on there military and the discovery of oil near the falklands has angered Argentina. looks like there could be another war out there at some point soon problem is we are so stretch and the navy cut back so much its unlikely we could do much about it and Argentina know this.

I think its always been on the cards.
Argentina look at the Falklands (Malvina's) in a similar way to how we look at say the Isle of Man.
At the moment we are vulnerable in that we are stretched beyond belief and they may take this chance to invade again, we cannot allow this to happen as the Islanders are British and its British soil.
mickeyb 12-03-2007, 06:07 PM I say we get all the islanders off the place. Then nuke the ****er to make it un-inhabitable. If we can't have it, no one can.
Anyway..surely, they wouldn't dare take it again.
BrooklynBomber 12-03-2007, 06:35 PM Although I love Argentina, I am totally with the greet teeth on this one.
Larry Merchant 12-03-2007, 06:46 PM Lets see if the US will enforce the Monroe doctrine if the brits attack Argentina.
Jim_Davis 12-03-2007, 08:20 PM Its about time we start invading some mother****ers and get our empire back.

col Blake 12-04-2007, 04:10 PM don't expect any help from are American cousins, they wont help Britain as they have spend the last 100 years trying to dismantle the british empire, did'nt help us in the suez canal, our Navy is a floating joke now, no good navel yards left in Britian, the Japs are building are ships now.
Celtic_Warrior 12-04-2007, 05:20 PM The Americans will probably just do what they did for some of WW2, offer us equipment and Ships etc at a price.
msagrain 12-04-2007, 05:24 PM cant we just nuke the ****ers and have argentian as part of our new empire?

About 3,300 people I think and 8000 miles away.
Its a freezing shit hole to be honest, but they are British and I say as such we should look after them.
Although Messi would be a good deal!
