i call bull**** on that fight. total ****ing bull****.

even though i was pretty drunk, here's what i remember:
genki is pretty much the dominant fighter throughout the whole fight up until the end of the 3rd.
ludwig is on the verge of loosing via ground n pound when the ref pulls genki off of him because ludwig's gushing. he makes them stand up again and that's when ludwig gets wild in the last minute. that cut was nothing ****in major and if they had been allowed to just carry on the fight then there's no way in hell ludwig would have won.
ludwig's victory was attributed to (50%) his power and (50%) a damn lucky ref call.

both great fighters but a rematch should be mandatory.

purity- you say 50% ref call was the reason he won? The ref didnt stop the fight, drunk guy. It ended in decision. Which the judges make a call as to an overall point system by judging every round. i would say it was preaty evenly matched up until the 3rd round. Thats all he needed to win. I think it was a good call. You say "if they woulda let the fight continue, there is no way in hell Ludwig would have won".... BULL****, friend. Who was on their back? exactly. Thats why they kept getting stood up... coz Genki would go down to the floor... and get almost too comfortable and post up on his side and chill and ****..... ****in lame. He went down in that last minute and like you saw when Ludwig put his karate crane kick up.... Genki was just chillin with his hand behind his head. Even when he was on his back for a few... Ludwg tapped him up. You are talking about Sudo, who can not beat Jens Pulver and the man (Ludwig) who has beat THE MAN..Jens Pulver. He won, bro. Its life. Deal with it.

Sudo dominated for IMO 1 1/2 - 2 rounds of the fight.

Sudo clearly showed he had the goods and Ludwig never had a chance.

BJM made some bull**** standup that shouldn't have happened putting Ludwig in the advantage.

Sudo couldn't pass guard. He tryed to sub and Ludwig would escaped. (You do get points for that) That act he does standing hurts Sudo....he might as well just run from people as to stand with his back to them.

They split the first 2 rounds and Sudo was winning the 3rd. Big John stood them up to check Ludwigs noise. Ludwig then owned Sudo for the last half of the round and hurt him pretty badly.

And that ****ing craine stance at the end....**** YEAH

when big john broke it apart he should have put them back in the same postion he took them apart from cause genki was landing good shots in it and he was controling the fight in the first and second rounds i hate big john and i think he is a racist it was just like rizzo-couture 1 genki should have won the fight and shuld get a rematch

Bang won fair in square. Everyone just needs to stfu now.

Mc Carthy stood them up when there was only 1:45 remaining in the third Round. Bang dominated those 1:45, but the rest of the of that round was controlled by Sudo.

There were some really biased calls by the refs in this UFC.

The fight was pretty close to call, it was definetely not an unanimous decision.

i agree 100% w/ purerock. if they had been put back into the position and THEN ludwig delivered then maaad props to ludwig. bang is still an excellent fighter but that fight had it's quirks. i just think they need the rematch quick.

**** big john. i hate that douchebag he always ****s up fights. he should have had them go back to the postion they were in before he stopped the fight. i call for a firing of big john and have larry landless made head ref for ufc. in the first rizzo couture fight . pedro had randy on all fours and was pounding the **** outta him and big john makes them stand up and randy goes on to win. big john is a racist fat pig and i am sick of his ****.

I agree, GEnki got jipped. Genki should have won that fight.

The only reason Bang won is:
1. It's the UFC (Refs "seem" to have favorites and make biased decisions, If it would have been Bang G'nP Sudo I am sure Mc Carthy would've let it keep going)
2. The closing minute of the last round leaves a great impression in the judges minds and Bang closed strong.

It was a close fight. I thought It was a draw.
There was no major ownage in match by either fighter.

This is the only guy makeing any sence around here.

The decision was total BULL****. Sudo should've won that fight. He won rounds one and three. He was owning the Ralph Macchio wannabe for the entire third round...up until the last minute. How they gave that round to Ludwig is beyond me. Bang got saved by that stupid unfair rule which clearly helped him in the end. Even Dana White thinks it's a bull**** rule.
