** Would love to see the documentation for that since recorded history doesn't begin until 5-6000 yrs ago at the earliest. May have some cave drawings, but I doubt it.

Jack Dempsey probably the highest paid athlete in adjusted dollars. He was making a million a year back when Babe was the 2nd highest paid athlete who topped out at 80 grand. BTW, Johnson got paid the winners share of the Jeffries bout, more than Jeff was paid.

Finally, but not least, an Elvis sighting. Elvis a big Ali and boxing fan who gave Ali a treasured robe he wore in many of his fights. Not to mention Sly Stallone, who couldn't carry Elvis' jock strap or guitar.
