Even though Hearns' best days were below 168lb, who takes this fight at Super-middleweight? Could he have out-muscled the best 168lb fighter of the modern era?

Hearns is one of few guys who could win a lot of rounds against calzaghe. In fact I would be shocked to see Joe get a decision. But a young Joe easily had the chops to turn Hearns's lights out. This is a guy who couldn't take a punch at 147.

I'd go Calzaghe UD. As you said Hearns best day's were at a lower weight.

I think Calzaghe would out work Hearns at 168.

I think some of you guy's are overrating Calzaghe. I think Hearns would win UD, Hearns is just as technically good as Calzaghe, and although he didn't have the best chin, he was definitely tough.
