We all seen the poster for UFC 43 that shows Chuck Liddell Vs. Randy Couture. Can Chuck beat Couture? IMO Chuck is the best LHW right now but Couture is a natural heavyweight and a great fighter. What are your opinons on this?

good match......I don't know Couture is tough....I respect both fighters....I think I would rather see this fight than Tito vs. Chuck

Too close to call and Couture must be in hell of shape if he dropped to light heavy.

This is a dangerous fight for Chuck, Randy is an amazing fighter. His only weakness seems to be fighting from his back and Chuck isn't excatly someone that will be taking his opponet to the ground.

For once I'm with Creed. I like both of these guys and don't really want to see this fight. Normally I'd give Couture the edge, but he's gettin' old and Chuck is real hungry. I wouldn't be surprised if Couture GnP's his way to victory, but I'm expecting Liddell to win by TKO. Also. I think Couture is better than Tito and think this will be a harder fight for Chuck. Tito would have gotten his ass kicked by a lot of the guys that Randy fought.

This is like Clash of the Titans. Both these guys get mad respect from me, and like many of you, I'd hate to see either of them lose. When is the last time Couture was KO'd? Never if I remember correctly. TKO'd twice, but never KO'd.

This is the classic clash of styles. The striker vs. the GnP wrestler. The winner will be which ever man can more readily impose his will on the other. And I'm gonna have to go with Chuck, his takedown defense is awesome and he's as hungry as anybody in the fight game right now. I think he'll be able to keep the fight standing most of the time and win by decision, a pretty lopsided one at that.

And then what will Tito be able to say? He'll have just beaten one of the all time greats in the fight game.

Couture is the only person to ever finish Belfort, and I think he will be able to take Chuck down, I just dont know how long Chuck will be on the ground, this is going to be a tough fight, I actually want to see this fight........

If there's any justice in this world Chuck will win and then give Tito the beating of his life. Chuck not only had to beat Vitor to get to Tito, he then has to fight one of the greatest heavyweights to ever grace the sport. Damn I hate Tito more and more everyday and cannot wait for someone to hand him his ass on a platter.

very very tough call. the best i can predict is that this fight will go to decision but i still haven't a clue who will take it.

your first thought is that randy will take it because he's always been the bigger guy, more well-known guy with a more well-known impressive record. however blue brings out a good point in saying that couture is getting old and chuck is DEFINETLY hungry and in his prime. keep in mind to that chuck has quite a history in shutting up the nay-sayers.

i do know that for them to survive eachother they canNOT afford to get ****y and play the other man's style. randy better not try to stand with chuck and chuck better try to stay off the ground as much as possible.

this will be a great fight. I like both fighters, this will be maybe the hardest fight for Chuck and of course a hard one for Couture too, well wee have to wait to see ....

Yes, he will beat Liddell. He's done well before with powerful strikers, and he's got a good chin. He can afford to take a few of Chuck's bombs, and I think if anyone can take the Iceman down, it's Randy. Once on the ground Couture will dominate. Couture by JD

sadly i think couture will take it but i hope chuck does....it would suck balls if couture got it seeing as he been geting smashed latley, and chucks done nuthing but woop ass

As much as Chuck is one of the best MMA strikers ever...Couture is the most adaptable fighter to ever pull on fight shorts. He will train specifically for Chuck, as he did Maurice SMith and Vitor and I think he will have the game, the size and experience to beat Chuck in what will be a freaken good fight

If Couture's cardio is at a good level I don't think Chuck will be able to take him, but either guy has a perfectly good shot at the title.
