Worst event of the year: UFC 75 [It had in my opinion the fight and submission of the year in it but the two undercard fights which were billed to be good were terrible Bisping V Hamill and Cro Cop V Kongo].

Best event of the year: UFC74 [ GSP was brilliant and Couture V Gonzaga was a very good fight]

Best KO of the year: Gabriel Gonzaga v Mirko Cro Cop

Best Submission of the year: Gomi vs Diaz (Gomi went for the takedown after becoming exhausted and Diaz pulled him into an omoplata)

Biggest Upset of the year: GSP vs Serra (A TUF winner was thought to have no chance especially against a dominating fight like GSP)

Most Boring fight of the year: Sylvia vs Vera (Sylvia said he was going to knock him out, Vera said we should not believe the hype and just watch)

Fighter of the year: Anderson Silva (Whooped everyone's ass)

Actually he pulled a Gogoplata on Gomi. The Omaplata is kind of like a torquing of the shoulder using your leg from rubber guard, not a choking with the shin.

Off the top of my head, haven't even read the comments:

Best KO of the year: Gonzaga KO of crocop (I remember looking the fight up on Youtube before I knew the result.. the title said "Viscious KO," I clicked expecting a viscious Crocop knockout, damn was I surprized).

Best Submission of the year: I'll go with Nick Diaz's sub of Gomi.. that was the first time I'd seen a gogoplota in comp, and it was a huge upset.

Biggest Upset of the year: There r quite a lot to choose from.. Matt Serra KOing GSP was a pretty big one.

Most Boring fight of the year: Hmm, I don't know. How bout anytime Sean Sherk fights?

Fighter of the year: Randy Couture, hands down. Too career performances, after a long layoff. The Sylvia win was huge, as much because of him totally dominating the fight as anything.

Biggest cut (blood) of the year: ?

Best UFC debut of the year: Well, didn't Page debut? Don't think he'd fought in the UFC previously. He made a big entrance this year.

Worst fighter of the year: Again, ?

Most intisipated fight of the year: Hmm, I was really looking forward to Couture-Sylvia, that fight didn't disapoint (though it was a bit one-sided.. didn't exactly mind though, as a huge couture fan).

Fight of the year: My favorite was probably Hendo-Silva2

I also realized this, but went ahead with my non-UFC picks anyways.. the sports MMA, saying best of UFC seems a bit like saying best of NFC to me.
