Lots of people compare Roy Jones Jr to Ray Leonard. But Leonard started as a welterweight and Jones as a middleweight, so Jones would seem to be the naturally bigger fighter. All that being taken into consideration, if Leonard tried his hand at hvy like RJ did, how do you think Ray Leonard would have done against Ruiz?

Also the reason why Ruiz could not hug Toney could be seen clearly on the right side of Ruiz body and it involved punching not moving.

Leonard had a great chin, but nowhere near Toney.

The fact that Ruiz never KOed any top HW does not matter much in assessing his chances to hurt a welterweight. Weight classes are there for a reason.
