For today is his last day in the job he hates with a bloodlust not seen often in this day and age.
He is heading back to LA soon hopefully to continue married life (sucker!).
Good Luck mate, even though I will be bug the **** out of you next week as I will be bored ****less here still...hope you don't commit any major felonies in your remaining minutes there!

Yeah I think I'm just as happy as he is that he won't have to go back to that job.
I hope he can be home by the 2nd weekend of next month.

Still awaiting on the visa technically... I would have preferred to quit when I had the visa but I think they could sense the rage building up and could spot a rabid dog coming around the corner so to speak.
Visa should be in my hands by end of next week, which means I'll then start finalising travel arrangements.

Don't drop your guard down yet. I hear California road rage is quite the phenomenon. Who knows, the next one to snap on the highway MAY BE YOU!!!!!!!!

You know what -- I thought about the road rage thing.
My theory is that it would be worse here than in America.
Let me tell you why.
Despite the fact California probably is one of the toughest states on gun laws (NY I think is the toughest if I'm not mistaken) the fact that guns are so readily available, means that anyone you decide to flip the bird at, is a potential gun totting NRA supporter.
Out here, the worst you generally have to contend with is a bloody club lock or crowbar.
So people here are prone to throwing down at the drop of a dime, figuring that at worst, it's aggravated assault and some bruising they might be facing. Where as by contrast if you road rage in America, then worst case scenario, you could be facing the wrong end of a Baretta 9mm.
Although I could just be horribly mistaken and be glazing over the fact that people who road rage aren't thinking, period...
