Just like Geraint Jones?

He was 1 when his family emigrated from Hungary...he lived here for 35 years having had the best of his career, moving to Australia in 1986...He's a Brit but if you wanna go by birth certificate he's Hungarian....not an aussie although he was nicknamed Aussie Joe Bugner.

Lewis was born and lived in London till he was 6 I think... then Emigrated to Canada.....He learned his trade there and is more Canadian than Brit....Bugner moved to Australia in 86 and is'nt an Australian.

considering yourself Australian and actually being one are two different things....You can be a citizen in real terms but never an Australian.....because he's not and neither are you...

lol the narrow mindedness of people on this board never ceases to amaze me. Im australian wheather u say i am or not. I share australian ideals and plan to raise my family as australians. I was lucky enough to get out of britain, because as a group of nations, the place sucks.

I'm far than narrow minded, but it never ceases to amaze me how people deny what they are...then they have aspirations of wiping out there own personal history, place of birth and life...unfortunately it does'nt work like that...We are what we are and that can never be changed like the colour of our skin...good luck in oss enjoy your citizenship and then have children who will actually be australian...but your not,joe bugner is not and never will however hard you try.

you can be whatever you want.

Being born in a place doesn't mean that you are THAT nationality if you don't want to be.

You can be whatever you want. **** what the passport says.

If you feel Australian, live in Australia, live by Australian codes, rules and morals, if you love Australia...then you are Australian if you want.

If you were born in a stable, it doesn't make you a horse.
