You should really try to establish the context when asking questions like those above. I spent 1 minute wonder WTF you were talking about, and the next 5 minutes researching other MMA websites to see if I was missing something.

It is really disappointing to learn the Matt Serra has been injured. I was hoping to see a grudge match, especially after Serra's phenomenal win over GSP. The steam has been released, and I'm not as excited for UFC 79 as I was. Now there are only two good fights on the card, both of which are only three rounds. I don't know if I am going to purchasing this one.

I don't think they will ruin a potential match with Serra so they will not have Hughes fight, but if they put Koscheck in there I will buy.

Koscheck is returning on UFC 82.

I wouldn't be surprised if this bout ends up on UFC 81 considering the Brock vs Mir is not too exciting.

I think Dana "Lex Luthor" is playing mind-games and influencing things, yet again. I think he set-up GSP when he told GSP that Serra was no match for him. He's the kind of guy to play mind games like this.

Serra was talking WAY too much **** and he knew he couldn't back it up, so he's going to wait for GSP to tap that ass and then a rematch with GSP. Smart business move, though.

Goulet should be given a shot at Hughes. He was unlucky and got caught and a fight with Hughes (even though it will be a losing effort) will make GSP-Hughes III that much more exciting.

Serra talks about Hughes being this and that...Serra has talked **** for MONTHS and MONTHS while Matt has been quiet and hasn't said anything because he knows he is going to tap that ass. i kinda doubt serra knew he couldnt back up all the talk....the talk is part of the game which you know. And embarass serra, ??? it just sucks cause we may never see hughes vs serra. if we do im willing to put all my points on serra

I think we could see Serra-Hughes .. but the chances are very very slim at the moment. and are fading fast

if Hughes and Serra lose their next fights .. and St. Pierre winds up the REAL champion in 2008

its gonna be disappointing as hell to watch the rest of TUF knowing that at UFC 79 there will be no Serra vs Hughes.
