This fight will be a massacre, Serra has lit a fire under Hughes and he is gonna pay for it at UFC 79. I have lost respect for Serra after watching his antics on TUF, he is way to disrespectful towards Matt Hughes.

Hughes is gonna pick up Serra snd slam his face into the canvas, he will than proceed to ground and pound Serra's face into hamburger. Serra is not in Matt Hughes' league, he fluked out against GSP.

I dunno if stuff said about Hughes is true but how he treats some of his fans is pathetic, and dont let his website fool you lol. I like Serra, cause he finally said what almost everyone thinks of Hughes..on national tv instead of forums.
Yah I do agree that Serra sometimes goes overboard on his hate for Hughes but its the hype.

alot of people are saying Hughes is gonna ground and pound Serra??? i don't get that part at all, he couldn't do any damage 2 Lyttle at all on the ground and he is no where near as skilled as Matt Serra in jiu jitsu, so i just don't see hughes getting it done on the ground.
and on the feet, Serra has been workin hard with Ray Longo on his stand up and it has payed off, knocking GSP on his ass twice an tko'ing him was no fluke.
his striking has gotten alot better than where Hughes is at so i don't see Hughes winning on the feet either.

The only way Hughes will win on the 29th is if he lays on top of Serra for 5 rounds.

That does suck I was anxious to see who the winner of the fight was going to be. I would have like to see GSP fight either of these guys. Either a rematch with Serra to get revenge or another fight with Hughes so he could kick his ass again.

I love both theses guys for different reasons, i highly doubt that Hughes is gonna completely dominate Serra. Serra has a striking advantage and on the ground is gonna be more active than most previous Hughes opponents. His Bjj is comparable to BJ Penn's and his striking is damn good too. Hughes got ground and pound down to a science and is amazing at keeping positional control.

I see Hughes winning a decision by mostly keeping Serra on his back, but dont be so quick to count Serra out. If Hughes lets his ego get to his head and decides to try and trade with Serra he could get KO'ed. Or Serra has the potential to slap a sub on in an instant.
