You were not informed cuz you are not deemed as ready to test. Fabiano sees me as ready. NOT YOU. *****!

I in fact do roll. 5 months solid of 3-5 times a week. And even with my new job that takes up all my jiu-jitsu time, i stil manage to make it 1 time a week minimum. And if I recal correctly, the 5 months I rolled in excess of 3 times of week i saw you maybe 5-6 times.

And to think this morning I told you to go roll at class... what did you do? Sit at home, on your butt.

blue? We dont even have tests here, Sean just give you your next belt if you do well at tourneys and if he feels you deserve it.

I think you should call Tito out. I heard that if you do that he rewards you for your bravery and warrior spirit.

You test for belts? My instructor use to just surprise us with it, much less pressure that way.

You guys get belt way to ****ing early. We got blue belts that have been training for 5 years.

Oh well I don't need a belt to tapp people out. We don't even have belts but that seems quick to me to get a blue belt like that.

White to blue belt is the fastest step anyway Canadian. blue Belt to purple and so on, is a different story. If it takes 5 years of bjj to get a blue belt you SUCK, unless you are like me and dont show up for months when your instructor is ready to give you your blue belt

you getting beat silly by chad has nothing to do with jiu jitsu. If there was a belt for getting pounded in the stand up game im sure you would have the black&blue belt.

No we use to have a black belt before I started but he left. He went to the state's and worked at some big school. They were screwing him over. So he left and is coming back here for a while. Vince was giving the blue belt years ago I forgot. He's just had it for a while. I predict he will be getting his purple soon.

BJJ Poly got his blue relatively quickly I think -- at least a year (wouldn't be suprised if it was longer than that though).
He then stayed on blue for at least another good 3-4 years before he got purple.

And he was beating about half of the purple belts in his club before he got a promotion (this is from my understanding).

Never heard of someone getting blue that quickly before, although Marciano Cruz got his black belt in some unbelievably quick time (was it five years?) or something like that. I hear he's got a photographic memory or something though. I dunno the specifics... it's possible although they are exceptions to the rules really. Largely depends on how often someone is training and how good they are and how quick they learn I guess...

Give me $40 and I'll make you a BJJ black belt kit.

I think standard time for white to blue here is about 2 years, pretty rarely is it quicker cause we just don't have the amount of comps, exposure or black belts to do it quicker. Blue to purple is generally the same time approx also.

We only have 3 to 4 black belts in canada.
