Good luck to Scotland in tomorrow's massive game against Italy. A victory will ensure qualification, a draw means we have to hope Ukraine can beat France in midweek and a defeat means we are out.

I would also like to wish good luck to Northern Ireland, who have an outside chance of qualifying and must beat Denmark to keep their hopes alive, to Israel, who realistically need to take points off Russia in order for England to qualify, and to Wales who take on the Republic of Ireland in what is effectively a meaningless game for both teams.

These ECQ weekends **** up my schedule. I need some EPL on Saturday mornings early; tomorrow I get a US friendly against South Africa instead.

But good luck to Scotland, I like their chances at home.

Unlucky, didnt watch it, followed it on radio instead, ref was disgrace, di natale had a good goal disalowed and fergusons goal was offside too,

Then again apparently italy's winner was a disgrace also,

Well done to scotland, i was shtting it a little when they scored the equaliser, but in the end, italy just did enough.

The more I read of your posts the more of a twat you sound. Resorting to tired sterotypes is petty and ridiculous especially when the drinking culture is a British trait and not reserved to Scotland.

For the record, I am what you would call a "sweaty Sock" and will be supporting England on Wednesday night and at Euro 2008 as I do at every major tournament.

Congratulations to Northern Ireland for keeping their hopes alive and to Italy for securing qualification.

I'd support Scotland if we hadn't gotten through this week.

Shame they ended up with such a difficult match to qualify.

It's a national anthem not a ****ing pop song. Most national anthems are dirges but they deserve respect.

Who said it wasn't a song?

Orange boy? How do you arrive at that conclusion?

I guess the answer to my question is that nobody said it wasn't a song.

I don't care if you don't like Flower of Scotland, that is up to you and it's not my favourite song either, but you did not articulate that point of view in a respectful manner and you went on to use terms of derision like "sweaty Socks" and made comments based on stereotypes which are, frankly, insulting.

how is sweaty socks insulting, English never seem to complain about being call poms or limeys, ever heard of ****ney rhyming slang, and no I'm not a ****ney.
and you did say it was'nt a song

No I didn't. You seem to have trouble reading but I will try again. I said it wasn't a pop song which in entirely different from saying it isn't a song. All national anthems are songs and as I stated it was a national anthem how can I possibly be saying it is not a song?

The term "Jock" is a term of derision and thus "sweaty Socks" is also a term of derision although it is clearly more insulting than the original. You were trying to be condescending to and that is why you chose to use that term.

You have shown yourself to be too thick to understand anything I have written thus far so there seems to be little point in continuing.

when you say there's little point in continuing does that mean your going to throw yourself of the fourth bridge and make us all happy, please have some one to put it on U tube.
