MMAWeekly.com:

MMAWeekly's Ryan Bennett was a special guest on the Randy Harris and Spaniard show in Tampa, Florida. You can hear their MMA segment every thursday by logging on www.wtansports.com.

Yesterday on the show Spratt told WTAN that he is considering retiring after he goes out with a bang by knocking our Robbie Lawler

Spratt says, "When you see how much money a guy like Carlos Newton is making in our weight class, and I have paid my dues and I'm not making anything....that gets really frustrating. The fight game is frustrating."

This is Spratt's third fight of his three fight contract and it's unknown if Zuffa will have him back IF he loses to Robbie Lawler. Either way Spratt said this most likely will be his last fight.

Hope he keeps fighting.....If he does well against Lawler he might get the pay day he's looking for.

WTF!?!? He only has 8 fights and has only been fightin for 2 years now, I can understand being pissed off, but he can always solicit Pride.

He got owned by newton and he's trying to say he deserves that kind of money? He is an exciting fighter but he needs to realize that he has a ways to go to get to the top of the heap.

btw, he better not make any plans on KOing lawler cuz it may not turn out that way!!
