Rameau Thierry Sokoudjou is not confirmed to fight Lyoto Machida at UFC 79: “Nemesis” on December 29 according to mmamania.com.
Rumors have been swirling around the net today regarding Sokoudjou's alleged match with Machida at UFC 79. And while the fight may happen and a deal is "in the works", nothing has been confirmed according to Team Quest officials who also added, “These things fall through all the time.”

So, although the fight with Machida is still in limbo, Sokoudjou to the UFC looks to be a done deal. Other offers from EliteXC and K-1 were termed “flaky” and Team Quest management feels that it's best for their fighter to fight in the US with the UFC.

Its nice to see that Soku is preparing to fight in the UFC, as he's been MIA since the last Pride card.

probably some time in the new year now, i've read that the cards are all full until jan-feb fight cards.
