Squezze 04-17-2003, 06:28 PM .....look back on the last few years of your life, or any period of time, and think where did the time go? And why did I do nothing of note during that time period?
Me personally, I'd say from 18-21 were years that were totally wasted. Hell, even now, I'm not doing much. And I wonder if I knew in advance that I'd be doing nothing for those years, would I even change it?
The Rolling Stones said it best. I can't get no satisfaction. Deep thoughts.
GhosT^x0 04-17-2003, 06:44 PM I spent 6 years with a woman I thought I'd be with for the rest of my life. Imagine my surprise the very first morning I woke up in a new apartment with a new set of living circumstances that didn't include her. The age of 16 to 22 was completely consumed by a girl whom I willingly gave those years too. I would've given a lot more if I'd been asked, too. Fact is, I'm glad I didn't... because I'm mad enough at how much I spent in that time without a solid return as it is.
18 - 21 for you... still rough, I'm not about to compare apples and oranges. Regardless of the rhyme or reason, looking back on any prolonged period of time and realizing you've accomplished nothing sucks. Women will be my undoing.
Prince 04-17-2003, 06:44 PM nope, my life has been a very slow hell so far. i'm 18 now, so maybe things will start speeding up. i can't wait until i'm in my 70s.
zioxoiz 04-17-2003, 06:48 PM My life for the past year since graduating from college has been a waste, and will be until i get a new job to start my career.
Squezze 04-17-2003, 06:51 PM I'm gonna have to agree with Cesaro's signature. Life ****ing sucks. I will pay someone to kick me in the back of the head with a steel toed boot on.
Squezze 04-17-2003, 06:54 PM And I know all about the "getting nothing in return" as far as women go. 18-21 was spent all with the same chick, and I got nothing out of it except anger and misery.
The hard lesson I learned was the only person you can trust is yourself.
Since graduating high school i believe i have not done much with my life. I mean i am doing good in school, but i still live at home (i got to a community college right now) Basically, this week it made me realize it, becuase i took this week off from working out- now i basically have nothing to do except schoolwork. I just feel pathetic. Once school ends in about 2-3weeks i will pick up training again, just so i can keep busy and hopefully find the right girl for me.
Bluecifer 04-17-2003, 06:57 PM This boring hell that you young whipper snappers are complaining about is essential to your development. Your going to look back and miss it more than your mothers udders. Xaidax you know not what your saying. You'll wonder what happened to your life of leisure when you get your cube and work your ass off for the first five years of your professonal life.
Prince 04-17-2003, 07:01 PM if i had one thing i wouldn't say a word about my life. everything else is fine..i just dont get laid.
I actually cant wait to graduate college and move to NY or someother state. I'm going for Finance and i might double major in Accounting also. I want to sell stocks and bonds.
Cesaro, buy a plastic ***** bro and bang that **** out. woot.
Bluecifer 04-17-2003, 07:03 PM Hit me up when you graduate. I'm a corporate recruiter that specializes in Finance and Insurance. I'm looking for a hedge fund specialist now that has his series 7 and 63 securities licensing.
I will most definitly- thats if we talk here still. I am only a freshmen this year. Where do you work bro?
zioxoiz 04-17-2003, 07:06 PM blue its not that, its just im stuck in a horrible job right now that I hate that isnt building my life in the direction i want to go in, it has nothing to do with my career and they only reason i am still working there is it pays decent and i havent found my ideal job yet.
You sound like my sister man. SHe graduated last year from college but the economy sucked and employment was horrible. She wants to be in human resources but no one was hiring so she settled for the only thing- Cendant Mortgage. She's a counsler their and she hates it really bad.
Bluecifer 04-17-2003, 07:10 PM I work in Portland, OR. Tom, Xaidax, what do you do for a living?
I go to college full time and i just work at a retail store, i am a third key/manager, at a mall.
realkaps 04-17-2003, 07:14 PM I have done nothing with my life sense I got kicked out of highschool......
Bluecifer 04-17-2003, 07:15 PM Why did you get kicked out of highchool?

Curly Howard 04-17-2003, 07:18 PM I'm sitting here at age 34 trying to figure out a way to get a loan to go back to school so I can work inside.

Have you applied for any student loans? I think they're easier to get if you have kids. Also, you can get a certification of some kind, like a for technical writing. Your technologically savvy and can spell. Outside where live =cold, doesn't it?
zioxoiz 04-17-2003, 07:27 PM to tell the truth i would love to do auditing or accounting, but who knows, ill end up probably starting my own business in the tech industry.
zioxoiz 04-17-2003, 07:29 PM thanks man, i just know i need some kind of change or else im goign to spear someone with a galvanized pole with a handicap parking sign on it.

Wow. Your a one sick ****. You WANT to crunch numbers? Crazy bastard! Just kiddin'. You'll probably get something like that eventually, even if this one doesn't pan out. Accounting has the third highest demand of any industry. It's just a matter of WHERE you're willing to work.
Xai- did you take the CPA test?

yeah we work like 9 months a year if we're lucky......I never had a student loan,,,,That's what I'm looking in to know....I'm just depressed that I'm owed over $1000. and I sit here broke.
Thanks Blue
zioxoiz 04-17-2003, 07:32 PM yeah i know, its just a ***** right now since im low on the accounting experience. I have the technical and excel skills but they wont take a chance on me cause i dont have the right experience, but how can you get experience without a job to get experience!
I hear ya man. I think everyone says that, because thats one of the first things employers look at is experience, and if oyu just graduated college, you really don't have any. So it's hard.
Bluecifer 04-17-2003, 07:35 PM Curly, student loans are surprisingly easy to get, I'm sure that you'll qualify. Xaidax, what you need is a good recruiter on your side. I would recommend that you go talk to one of the headhunters at Robert Half.
Prince 04-17-2003, 07:36 PM i wish i could spam forever.
zioxoiz 04-17-2003, 07:36 PM will do thanks for the advice.
Bluecifer 04-17-2003, 07:37 PM You can Cesaro. And np xaidax.
Prince 04-17-2003, 07:38 PM i probably could, but it would have to be a side income.
how much do you make spamming?
Prince 04-17-2003, 07:39 PM $15,000 this year
Curly Howard 04-17-2003, 07:41 PM Thats sweet
zioxoiz 04-17-2003, 07:41 PM thats some good spammin.
Bluecifer 04-17-2003, 07:42 PM What do you spam? How does that work? I don't know much about that...
Prince 04-17-2003, 07:43 PM it would be if i wasn't a moron. i'm $2000 in the hole as of last night, but it should be paid back by the end of this month. i have some new HGH(human growth hormone) stuff i'm about to start doing, it makes more than **** usually but its easier to get caught and not paid.
how do you get in a hole for helping a company get their product out?
Prince 04-17-2003, 07:45 PM companies don't like you to bring traffic by spam, but thats not my problem. you have to buy methods to spam unless you are a really good programmer. if i knew someone who was a visual basic or c++ genius instead of having to buy things i would be clear. when you buy a spammer you take a risk of not making your money back.
ahhh. i dunno anything about this..
Bluecifer 04-17-2003, 07:50 PM That's interesting Cesaro. How do you get paid? I mean how do they keep track of whose spamming is selling the product?
Prince 04-17-2003, 07:51 PM do you have AIM? if so, IM me on 'Rapid' or I can explain it to you more in this thread or PM.
PM me too Cesaro. I want to know too bro.
zioxoiz 04-17-2003, 07:55 PM **** i think we all do.
