I think Mrales is too big for Marquez.....Marquez has problems with evasive guys who have decent power and high work rate...Morales is elusive, he may look bad doing it...like out of balance or something, but he has very good abilty to avoid punches...erik's overhand right also has the power to give Marquez problems....and the most important thing of all, Morales has a great chin and throws a lot of punches...he also has a very stiff jab....which would give Marquez a lot of probems when Marquez is looking for his shots...and Morales has the chin to take one shot from Marquez, walk through it and come back with combinations....

I say El Terrible gets a 116-112 UD...

I agree with what youre saying. Erik is very big and punches hard as a jackhammer...however I dont see many people walking through JMM (granted pacman hurt his hand in their bout...possibly could've changed the whole fight). As well as Erik (although im a HUGE fan) gets very anxious, and fights with his emotions alot (leaving him succeptable to unneeded punishment), whereas JMM seems to be able to keep himself composed mostly, so just like in any fight there is always give and takes to see who will be the better man that particular night, but as a fighter/fight fan, i'm very upset this fight never happened

Theyre both my favorite countryman(im form mexico... :p)im sad it didnt happen too...top rank wanted to protect their fighters(jmm and morales were both top rank fighters when this fight couldve happened..)

like i said i feel JMM waits too much on his shots....guys with fast hands, good abilty to go in a and out and good at delivering punches(and believe me, no one puts punches togheter at a mid-range in a high pace fight like erik morales)are a nightmare for marquez because they usually get the points....they may not touch him good, but he allows you to touch him consistently...and like i said for every punch jmm throws, morales will throw 3 and even if JMM's counter hits the mark, Morales always comes back with a shot of his own...
