Here is an audio with Green talking about it.

This seems Mundines next fight.

Danny Green says a re-match with arch-nemesis Anthony Mundine is ‘imminent’.

Green is shaping up for his light heavy weight world title fight against German based Croatian Stipe Drews on December 16, but insists that he'll put the title on the line for a second chance at Mundine.

"The re-match is imminent. It's going to happen in the future," Green warned on FOX Sports.

"I'll put my World Title on the line to fight him in the re-match"

"It would give me a chance to redeem myself."

The West Australian was beaten by Mundine, a former top grade league player, by a unanimous points decision on May 17 last year.

Green still has to fight Drews, He's looking past him and that's not a good thing.

I like Green, he is very outgoing, Mundine on the other hand likes to fight sub par opposition for a living

When you turn pro, were not going to get you a few domestic tune up fights. Its straight over to the US for the big time mate. Im getting you Mosley, Hopkins or Winky. Either one. Once they see our girls at the Green fight, they will be ****e scared lol.

Green is kidding himself if he thinks he can beat Mundine , assuming Mundine comes back to the same fighter he was before the eye injury.

Im hearing things from the underground boxing world (boxing community).

They say ever since Kessler has lost, they are going with plan B. I originally thought team Mundine were wasting him, but when i heard this i was impressed.

Hes going to beat Clavero.

Then he fights Danny Green in Perth, in Apirl/May/June.

But interestingly enough Team Mundine are actually doing something that i thought was smart. After the Green fight there going to try to get a fight with Abraham, Sturm or Pavlik. Pavlik is last resort out of the three. And apparently hes (anthony) prepared to travel for this fight only. Which is weird, but makes sense.

There aiming at having Mundine the IBF middleweight champ, WBA super middleweight champ, and WBA light heavyweight champ by the end of 2008. Which seems very exciting.

A 3 belt champ? Is that pound for pound recognition? And has an Australian ever done that?

As you guys knew as soon as Kessler lost it was a blow for Anthony and his management and i condemned there management. But this seems like a good plan. Because he can win the first two fights. And the third he is in with a great chance. Any thoughts? Mg, Brently? Anyone?

What happened to this: "I use to be a major Mundine fan. But gave up on him after he refused to fight half decent fighters!!!"

Seriously Ult, I don't give a **** about Mundine anymore now that he's talking about fight Green for a light heavy belt and besides Pavlik is still a middleweight. Mundine is seriously all talk.

I don't think Green should be looking past this Drews, either.

Tell me about it. He need another Rose or Harding these days. That's why I don't have too much of an invested interest in the Aussie scene anymore, I just got tired of **** match ups and over hyped Shannon Taylors.

interesting stuff mate but christ there's alot of 'ifs' in there. green to beat drews is one of the biggest. pavlik to beat taylor first even if he was interested in mundine.

i think mundine and green will square off again but i wouldnt count on much of the rest coming true.

Jeff " Hitman " Harding?
Harding v Andries 1 - What a fight. :boxing:

Ya never know Willie might be able to take the next step.
Lets be honest, not many come along with his skills down under too often.

That would be great mate.
I have it on VHS but don't know how to convert it.
I think I've watched that fight 30 or 40 times. Classic stuff.
I went to Harding Andries 2 in Melbourne after being fascinated with their first contest. I believe they had a 3rd as well?

What was that like? Was it at the Tennis centre? I'll try and upload that fight by the end of the weekend.

Yeah mate - It was at the tennis centre 17 years ago
OMG I'm feeling old now.
Watched Fenech fight Villasana there too. Broke his hand again and retired after the fight but came back later of course. If you don't have ringside seats there then binoculars are a must.

Yeah much the same as the Sydney Ent centre.
