Joe Calzaghe has proven himself as a great fighter, but I do believe that Billy Conn would too elusive and defensively well-schooled for him to handle.

I see Conn dominating and defeating Calzaghe to win by wide decision.

It would be a very easy night for Billy Conn! Conn was fighting grown men at 15. The way Billy Conn was brought up on the mean streets of Pittsburgh he'd take Joe out early in round 4. Don't forget that his hot temper got him Ko'd against Joe Louis because Conn loved trading even if it meant taking risks even though he was well ahead on points. If Conn had Louis best measure for 13 rounds what chance does Joe have?

Billy Conn's jab was fast but predictable, Calzaghe would have negated it just as he did Kessler's, also Conn couldn't fight on the inside and was actually a naturally smaller fighter than Calzaghe.

Calzaghe by possible TKO.

PS: Judging by the Bettina + Corbett fights, he had alot of trouble with southpaws.

its funny because i was asking myself who would have won between these two the other day. i would bet on Calzaghe in this fight. he was quicker and has better boxing ability IMO. Calzaghe by UD. :boxing:
