i know about dempsey,nothing about wills,to you scholars out there,how would this have played out if it ever happened?

well dempsy fought tunney instead, and look what happend, he lost. Dempsy was inactive for a long long time, so i could see the same thing happening here. UD for willis.

Why? Dempsey loved to face the taller, stationary fighters. Plus Dempsey has the advantage in speed and power. His defense (low crouch, bobbing and weaving) would have made it difficult for him to be hit cleanly.

However, Wills strength and power culd have made for a good fight. I just think Dempsey would have prevailed given all we know about both.
