How did that Dark Ages game go?

Umm. Well. Our control over this town is tenuous at best atm.

The town has been attacked by the remnants of a group of other vampires that we failed to adequately exterminate last adventure and now we're debating how to solve the problem.

We have been attacked because the other players largely ignored my characters advise and split up before they attacked the town.
The raid would have been successful most likely if they listened but noooooooo....

We tried to impress an elder vampire of how good how town is and act as a good host. Instead I barely got her out of my domain safely on the second night she was there.

To top it off the other players botched their medicine rolls, think they've find a nice batch of malnourished humans and plan to bring them back to the town. Only problem is that their all plague victims and carriers....

My fellow PCs are incompetent.

Sad part is my character is giving combat advice and she's got no combat experience whatsoever. She's a ruler of a noble house and a socialite.

Although over time I can see I'm gonna have to give her some combat experience. The PCs just keep bringing the fight to her...

Its all about the Nosferatu Jake.

Tell me about it.

I will prolly play a Nossie in the event this character dies. Although I got a penchant for the Tzimisce. No other clan I believe is as deep or complex or has as much history as the Tzimisce. As such I find there is so much scope for roleplaying.

Assamites come close as do several other clans. But they're a distant second IMHO.

On a side note, Wilhelm prefers the Lasombra. :)

I think he just digs the use of Obtenebration myself :)

That's the only real appeal I see with that clan.

They've all got their own appeal and they're all good for certain things. Personally the only clan I do not like much is the Lasombra and that's largely because I find they're a shadowy reflection of the Ventrue (no pun intended).

Nosferatu are certainly one of the more interesting and 'enigmatic' clans I find. :)

From a player perspective, I gravitate towards Tzimisce and Setites. That's not to say I wouldn't play others however. Depends on the concept really. *shrug*

As it stands I have a solid concept for my Tzimisce at the moment and I am having a great time playing the character. Although she's a little bit too 'human' by Tzimisce standards I think. Perhaps that's because she's spending too much time amoungst the humans and these soft**** western vamps....

I basically got my hands on my cousins' copy of Advanced Dungeons and Dragons (2nd edition) Player's Handbook , Shadowrun(1st edition) rulebook and Cyberpunk 2020 rulebook and it all began from there....

Vicissitude is the bomb. Right now, my vampire character has recently fleshcrafted several ghouls she is customising into super 'war ghouls' or szlachta. She plans on having them beefed up and trained into super soldiers to basically do her bidding like attack other vampires havens during the day, and also cross train them so they know how to deal with other threats like werewolves as well.

That's the very least of what can be done with Vicissitude as well.

The last adventure the PCs managed to defeat 3 in combat and Dominate a fourth into fleeing. It was rather impressive watching them co-ordinate their attacks like that.

So now they're got swollen egos figuring if they can take them out, there ain't nothing they can't kill now.
