ohw, if there is one thing I learned on this board it is that american is another word for ignorance....

Use a normal ****ing system.

1 inch = 1 inch
12 inch = 1 foot
3 feet = 1 yard
5.5 yards = 1 pole, rod, perch
4 poles = 1 chain
10 chains = 1 furlong
8 furlongs = 1760 yards = 1 mile

I mean look at that....... no system in that what so ever.. look at the metric system

10 millimeters = 1 centimeter
10 centimeters = 1 decimeter
10 decimeters = 1 meter
10 meters = 1 decameter
10 decameters = 1 hectometer
10 hectometer = 1000 meters = 1 kilometer

Our system is way beter and way easier...... same goes for the weights but I wont even get into that.

there are alot of units you don't use in the metric system ethier.

You pretty much only use mm, cm, m, and km

I think it's funny how the us won't change to metric. Tons of people have been killed and billions lost because people screw up in converting the number. You still won't change.
