Nope. In Canada you've gotta dial 1 first, then 7, then the area code, then 8, then the pound key. Then you gotta yell in the phone loud as a mother ****er, and eventually someone in the phone company hears it, crawls out of his/her igloo, throws a flaming pile of seal blubber due west so the police/fire fighters can smell it. Burning seal blubber is the Canadian SOS smell. All police stations and fire stations and **** are always located due west, cause if we travelled eastward, into the wind, our eyeballs would freeze and we'd die a horrible painful death in the harsh Arctic-like Canadian winter.
