Purity 04-09-2003, 02:48 PM everytime that the company decides to throw a birthday or going-away party for someone, they have a specific rule that loan officers are NOT INVITED.
i think it's totally ****ed up considering that, at the same time, they try to convince us that "we're all one team. we get through it toGETHER!"
so what if we like to party a lil harder than the ****in bags of wind in the back office!
well NOT today. i, yes I, have just received word when and where vanessa's birthday party will be.

these are the underwriters & processors. if i get all ****faced and go off on them then they don't like me at that point. if they don't like me and i turn in 5 new loans (out of the 20 from the other reps) well then guess WHO'S loans will go on the bottom of the stack!?!?
this way, i am able to piss everyone off while not SEEMING like it's my fault. therefore i get drunk, everyone else does, and i'm still looked at as the good guy :)

i work @ pacific states mortgage. yes, i'm insanely busy but i've started to relax lately. the workload is still insane but i am no longer doin the 18 hour days. i try to limit myself to 10 hours a day. it's just not worth it to give up your life for the sake of the money.
i find that my attitude is a lot better and it's working out great. not to mention i've decided to go on several spending sprees lately.
