CORN, MAN-MADE sugar), a little pulp for fibre, even a smidge of protein. can't go wrong with OJ.. even tho i dont drink it haha, i might have a glass tonight after training tho. slurpee 10-23-2007, 02:49 PM ****.. i didnt see it was orange juice lol.. i just had a glass of v8 splash fruit juice after my workout. i guess it wont add bodyfat considering i just did a 2 hour workout and i workout 2-3 hours 6 days a week. mrrupo 10-23-2007, 03:30 PM His training regimen where he ate steak, pasta and fruit juice for 2-3 meals of the day... why the fruit juice? i thought simple sugars arent that good Simple sugars, especially the sugars that are naturally in grape juice, will provide you with instant energy. It's added sugars you should really worry about. In fact, if you are taking creatine, mixing it in half a glass of purple grape juice will create what is called a "creatine shuttle" that brings it to your muscle fiber cells quickly and with less waste than just water. Just beware of "juice" that contains like 10/20/30/40...70% juice. You want 100% and try to stick to organic juices with no added sugar. Avoid corn syrup, high fructose corn syrup, and all that fake stuff at all costs. It took nature millions of years of evolution to provide us with what we need, so trust that, not laboratory created ****. mickeyb 10-23-2007, 03:50 PM Maybe he just liked it!? |
