During the fight, did Vera appeared hurt, since he did mention in his post-fight interview that he did suffer a broken hand.

If this is the case Vera should take care of injury and get right back into the mix. He's 29 years old, the window of opportunity for a combat fighter is not that big. He still has alot that we haven't seen. His standup is much better than alot of heavyweights, but I'd love to see him in a grueling fight on the ground just to see what he's got. I've personally seen Vera's skills on the ground and the boy is smooth, but yet to find him in a tough fight.

For me, whether it's boxing, Muay Thai, or MMA, if a fighter ain't had a tough fight, then he ain't really been in a fight.

Vera should move down in weight too LHW, he's a small heavy weight and I don't think he'd have much of a problem dropping down.....

yeah he could drop but his goal IS to become the heavyweight champion and then challenge for the light heavyweight title and hold both at the same time....he did look way too small to be in there with sylvia and im sure he learned alot being in there with that big dumbass....but he should still be undefeated and in my eyes STILL will win the heavyweight title by the end of next year.......

Vera should fight Pe De Pano or Werdum. Arlovski should fight CroCop. Kongo and Sylvia should fight, and Big Nog and Mir should go at it. This would be like a heavyweight Grand Prix except it will be on three different cards. That's my take.
