A disappointing night ends. Rich never had it in him. He was lucky to get past Okami. Sylvia vs Vera was not great, and the rest of the bouts seemed like TUF. The crowd cheers for Silva after he thanks the crowd for coming and supporting him. Rich says he know realizes he is back in Ohio. He has to clear his head and figure out what he is going to do next.

Silva kept manhandling Rich who looked like his soul had just been ripped form his body. In round 2 before Silva landed a second knee, Rich fell and John stopped it.

The ending combo was a right, left, left kick to the leg, 2 knees to the face and Rich fell to the ground in a heap.

Sylvia won, right? Made Brandon bleed, right? I was only siding with Franklin because I like a good comeback. Anderson has incredible skills and ability. He is the Fedor of his division, but Dan or Wookie would beat his ass.

round one was close both landed a few good punches, Franklin got silva down but couldn't pass the guard so they stood up with about 3 seconds left silva puched rich and he was ko'd but there was no time left... 3 guys had to help rich get up and go in his corner as the second round started silva jumped on him by the fence and landed a nice leg knee and de ja vu he fell just like last time with the exact punch.

I honestly never understood why so many people were picking Franklin.

Basically went like this: Round 1, Franklin clinches against the cage, and actually manages a takedown, but quickly gets sweeped and its back to the feet. Silva was doing better on the feet, aside from a few Franklin punches that got through. At about the 3 minute mark, Silva landed a spinning heal kick to the body which clearly hurt Frankin. Silva followed it up with some more kicks and knees to the body. In the closing seconds, the southpaw Silva squared up and set up a crushing right hand which buckled Franklin moments before the bell.

Round 2: Silva basically resumed where he'd left off, punishing Franklin with knees and punches, and soon Franklin was KTFO.

2nd round stoppage, It was kinda even in the 1st till the end of the round Silva caught Franklin with a right hand that DROPPED him but the bell rang and he was able to be carried to his corner

Hendo would surely be no cake walk, though Silva's more complete striking game may prevent a few problems. Hendo is a good slugger and he throws combinations and very hard shots, his problem though is he freezes up when on the defensive. He basically stands in front of you with his hands up and doesnt move.

If Franklin took Silva down than surely an olympic wrestler like Hendo can as well, the question is would he? Hendo likes to stand and slug it out, but He's also shown that he is a smart fighter and I believe that he would want it on the ground, at least once he ate a couple knees. He chose to go to the ground rather than slug it out with Jackson on several occasions, including after stunning Jackson in the 5th round, at a point when he was clearly behind and when I fealt he should've gone for broke with punches and tried for the KO.

Its a good fight, but I'm thinking Hendo would have the tools to pull it out.

Hendo is the hardest puncher at 185, if he hits Silva on the chin with 4oz gloves, Silva will KO'd or TKO'd. Silva's chin hasn't been tested by a guy with real punching power like Hendo.

Yeah I caught that as well, I found it strange at first, then when he sat down on the stool and told the doc it was broken it made sense.

Sylvia is a boring fighter though... Kept on pushing Vera back againts the fence made for a boring fight...I think the hand made it more difficult for him...I feel he should be fighting light heavy but I felt he won the 2nd and the first was a toss up.

Any of you watch A Silva's training? he trains more punching, kicking, BJJ, TKD, kickboxing, hitting the bag, kicking the bag more than lifting weights.
This is the way everyone should train to be victorious. Train to fight more than train for conditioning.
