DA1CATAS 10-20-2007, 10:08 AM Run... and many crunches... crunches dont burn the fat they make the muscles bigger.... then they show through your fat.... Running will help burn the fat though. Tuggers1986 10-20-2007, 10:10 AM Run... and many crunches... crunches dont burn the fat they make the muscles bigger.... then they show through your fat.... Running will help burn the fat though. good advice. Swimming is good aswell. batista 10-21-2007, 07:19 AM Like they said you need too burn the fat. There are no magic secrets. Mix up your abdominal work as well. There are hundreds of movements you can use. Use non-weighted and weighted movements for best results. My favourite exercises for the abs is the Dragon Flag. Run often, bust your ass at the boxing gym, do your ab work and have a clean diet. 2swell k-wells 10-21-2007, 10:31 AM smoke some krack, then u will look ass good as DA1....oooooooo that goddess(sarcasm) or(a gay comment like everyone else that likes his body lol) 2swell k-wells 10-21-2007, 10:33 AM Like they said you need too burn the fat. My favourite exercises for the abs is the Dragon Flag. D.I.E.S.E.L 10-21-2007, 11:26 AM emphasis on the word..."since" 2swell k-wells 10-21-2007, 11:45 AM I had the biggest balls of them all in 3rd grade. ForemanCrossArm 10-21-2007, 02:51 PM yea thats why I can't believe he doesn't have any...ive had abs since i was in ****in 3rd grade from doing them little sit ups during gym dude, some people have different genetics.. some people naturally put on muscle easier. some people are tall. some have long legs, torsos, arms, big fists, etc.. i couldn't do a pull up to save my life in elementary school, now i can do 30-40 if i started my workout with that. D.I.E.S.E.L 10-21-2007, 02:55 PM I know all about genetics playing a part in it, but he said hes been trying different things and still no abs...and thats why I said if hes light weight (130) working hard and no abs still hes not doing something right probably his diet ForemanCrossArm 10-21-2007, 03:03 PM true, true. although i'm sure his "trying lots of diff. things" is alot different than our trying lots of things haha. i don't leave puddles, i leave small ponds on the floor by the time i'm done with my stomache work ha.. and i'm just now starting to really see a 6/8-pack. FSUNoles46 10-21-2007, 03:14 PM I dont seem to have any problem building muscle when i focus on ab exercises but they dont just come natural to me. If i had to guess, id say that you probably just need to keep working at it and wait for the results. It would be helpful to know how long youve been working at this though. greengloves 10-21-2007, 03:41 PM also you might be doin the movements too fast, slow it down and hold the position for at least 1second where it feels hardest. and when you feel the burn, i mean REALLY feel it (you should be makin weird faces at that point) crank out 10+ more, tell yourself to quit bein a little bitch if you want to stop before that point if it helps (helps me lol). buy a magazine if you dont know many movements, variety is your friend but do 2 sets MINIMUM of the movements that you pick. youll need lower, upper, oblique movements in that order is usually best since lower abs are harder to isolate. also dont rest to long 30 secs to 1 min rest between sets.... and proper diet n exercise. its alot of work but thats exactly why alot of ppl dont have 6packs. leff 10-21-2007, 03:56 PM go to ask at a bodybuilding site HattonCOOL 10-21-2007, 04:23 PM Run... and many crunches... crunches dont burn the fat they make the muscles bigger.... then they show through your fat.... Running will help burn the fat though. Excatly what i was gonna say. Their is nothing better than running for burning stomach fat away. And then the crunches will help the muscles get bigger and show through. DA1CATAS 10-21-2007, 05:43 PM smoke some krack, then u will look ass good as DA1....oooooooo that goddess(sarcasm) or(a gay comment like everyone else that likes his body lol) stop being a jealous ***... thats sorta a female trait. ForemanCrossArm 10-21-2007, 05:46 PM crunches do help burn fat. A) any exercise is burning calories. B) the bigger/stronger the muscle the more energy it burns throughout the day, energy = fat. jlocs 10-22-2007, 04:03 PM Ive been doing this for like 5 months i do like 500-900 sit ups and crunches a day. tebe6sm 10-23-2007, 02:04 PM do some other ab exercises that are more intense than situps/crunches ex. L-sits, planks, kneeling/standing wheel rollouts, etc. mm6492 10-23-2007, 05:24 PM Ive been doing this for like 5 months i do like 500-900 sit ups and crunches a day. do u have like a fricken brick wall now jlocs 10-23-2007, 05:39 PM I can feel the ****in abs, the only problem is that i cant get rid of that layer of fat. Its starting to piss me off tebe6sm 10-23-2007, 06:10 PM abs are made in the kitchen, not in the gym clean up the diet, do some HIIT, other conditioning drills, etc. FSUNoles46 10-23-2007, 06:47 PM Figure out what your body fat is and start dropping it. Just change your diet. vBulletin® v3.7.1, Copyright ©2000-2008, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
