i guess some call it being a "pretty" boxer? idk but which pro boxer do you think has the best technique/footwork, etc? (past or present)

I personally think if we are talking about all around technique, you gotta mention Cotto. Good defense, smart game plans, well rounded boxer. It's hard to criticize anything he does.

in his prime every punch he threw was perfect they were powerful and fast because he would never over or under-commit to them.

chris byrd, the guy doesn't have any power but in his prime his technique was beautiful.

technique is the sweet science of boxing... mainly timing, math.
or can be considered a guy who does everything perfect. sloppy fighters always come across as not technically sound, but thats not true, that should show that technique aint about being pretty, its about knowledge n being taught properly and do it properly

o and best technique in boxing today... hmmmm.. tough question

id have to study a bunch of tapes and fighters to answer that. but ill say some names of good technical boxers
