STRETCHING for 5 mins
JUMPING ROPE 30-45 mins straight
SHADOW BOXING with weighted gloves for 6 rounds
HEAVY BAG for 6 rounds
BODY BAG for 6 rounds
DOUBLE END BAG 6 rounds
MEDICINE BALL ROUTINES
SPEED BAG
COUNT DOWN (10 JUMPING JACKS 10 BURPEES 10 MOUNTAIN CLIMBERS 10 PUSH-UPS THEN 9 OF EACH THEN 8 OF EACH THEN 7 AND SO ON)
I do the following WHEN I WANT,WHICH IS LIKE 3-5 DAYS A WEEK:
RUN TO WALL HIT HEAVY BAG 8 TIMES QUICK RUN BACK TO WALL. START OVER. FOR 4 ROUNDS.

DAMN! what kind of time commitment you puttin in? do u box for $$$? i have school, work, and a wife, dont know where i would find the time for all that. If i could make $$ from boxing i would put that kind of time in, but shit bro, that is intense!

On top of this
Monday -
Gym - Chest and biceps at gym doin push ups,Bench,Flys,dumpbell press, then for bi's, curls, 21's, cable machine and pull ups
Tuesday
Ju Jitsu for a hour and half
Gym - Run for 45-Hour, Bike 45- hour, and Cross trainer 45-hour all speed and agression
Wed-
Legs and Tri's Leg press, Squats, Leg curl machine, Tri - Weighted Dips, cable machine, and Other tri machines
Thursday
Gym - Run for 45-Hour, Bike 45- hour, and Cross trainer 45-hour all speed and agression
Friday
Gym - Lats, Shoulders - Lat Pull Downs, Pull Ups, Head stand push ups, Then weights for shoulders, maybe throw in some neck
depends who i'm with
Also do a bunch of head movement drills, sparring in ju jitsu, boxing and then MMA 3 nites a week ontop of work :(

yo D, i do that as my warmup dawg.... lol jus kiddin thats some serious shit there my man mad props for that shit bro seriously thats some insane ass shit thats alot of work u do. i workout mad hard too for like 2- 2.5 hours 6 days a week, but now u have given me motivation to go even further cuz i thought i did mad crazy shit but ur nuttier than me when it comes to workin out. good to know that there is someone is committed as u r. if i'm ever down south im gonna hit ya up and we're gonna spar cuz we could def give some HARD ass work to each other. props again man...

But i will be fighting at 178 for this tournament because i will not be able to lose all of the weight i regain from hydration for the second day.
When my walk around weight is 168 then i'll be 165 permanently.
i feel great at 178 though.. real relaxed and loose.
VERSATILE2K9 10-19-2007, 04:55 PM I dont do close to that.:lol1: I get alot of my cardio from work anyway. Picking up 80lb things.Taking boxing up 3 flights of stairs at a fast pace,working in the hot heat.
I do still do at LEAST 12 rounds straight on the heavybag.I run at least 3 miles a day.I've been doing at least 400 situps with 15second rests.But to be honest? My job is way too demanding and hard to do all of what he does.That would be over training for ME.Since I get strenuous work at my moving company,but in all.I think Im still doing good.If I had boxing full time then my workouts would be crazy.

My boxing work out consits off:
5min warm up stretch
3- 3 minute rounds of skipping
2- 3 minute rounds of shadow boxing
6- 3 minute rounds of pad work
3- 3 minute rounds of heavy bag
2 or 3 3 minute rounds of sparring
at the end 50 push ups, 50 sit ups, 50 crunches
I do that 5 days a week but i only spar 2-3 times a week.
Then i lift weights 4 times a week doing exercises like bench press(barbell and dumbell), bent over rows, pull ups, chin ups, squats, lunges, dead lifts and military press
And of course the usual roadwork everyone should be doing
Oh and 3 days a week i go through my ab routine that my old trainer taught me

My workout:
Warmup:
1 mile jog
2 rounds of rope
2 rounds of circles in the ring
2 rounds of shadow
Boxing Workout:
2 rounds of Heavy bag
4 rounds of pads
1 round of defense
2 rounds double ended bag
2 rounds of heavy bag
2 rounds of speed bag
Bodywork:
Ab wheel roll-outs
Russian twists
Bicycle crunches
Run 3-5 miles a day.
On sparing days I do my warm-up, suit up spar 5-6 rounds, then stretch and go home.

ForemanCrossArm 10-19-2007, 08:45 PM even tho my boxing gym workout today was pretty light (i think i'm sick. but i'm so healthy it's really not affecting me that much, haha, my roomie was really sick.. i can only kind of tell i am because of these red sore lines coming down from my lips and my throat is swollen (although it doesn't hurt, i can just feel my glands or whatev between the chin and neck are huge as **** right now)) your workout still kicked the ever living SHIT out of it.
3 min x 2 - stretching
3 min x 10 - jump rope
3 min x 10 - speed bag
3 min x 6 - non-stop L & R jabs on heavy bag
although i worked more than that. i was there actually working from 4:10-6:10, all that together is just 1:24, i probably only rested 15 minutes total in between everything, so tack on another 20-25 minutes to jump rope/speed bag..
if i can force myself to go to the weight gym (literally just outside my dorm) i can get in another hour lifting/cardio before it closes at 8.. eh, i'll probably end up just walking over there for about 30-45, hhaha the pushing factor for me even going at this point would probably be to check my weight.. and then i'd just ease into a light workout. how can you not tough it out and lift/run/whatev once your already there?

someday soon... my trainer says If I win florida state P.A.L. for him and get some points*(which i actually didnt know existed honestly)* That He'll let me go out of state to train and spar in the U.S. with some people for fun... and let me join other state tournaments.

I'm working on another degree.. I wanna have sure money and possible money... But ya definitely gotta keep them both separate... or you possibly/surely will end up homeless.. feel me.
I like teaching too... maybe because im so young and I teach seniors/juniors close to my age..
We'll see when I'm not everyones favorite teacher anymore and im too old to go clubbing at the same venues... *(which actually gets a lil crazy sometimes)*

i go to skool ful time at st johns, and work like 20 ish hrs pt time at a banana republic.. its sucks that i cant workout because of my ****in shoulder still.. its not getting better.. holla bak

dude i was jus strugglin with school and work and boxing and school wasnt really my thing so i jus dropped it. i got a job as a manager for a construction company i been at for years and the pay is great and the boss loves me so its ideal. i exercise at work sometimes i got a heavybag and speedbag in the back where we keep supplies and shit. its a good deal. school wasnt for me...

17-6. started off really bad cuz i had a bad trainer and wasnt really focused on it, so i lost my first 5, then switched trainers, started focusing, and won 14 straight, got blatantly robbed on one, then took a layoff for a little over a year, and jus got back in to training like 5 months ago, then had 3 fights since, won them, got another this weekend. back with a vengeance baby, lookin to go pro after about 20 or so more AM fights.
how bout you?

x2. if i take off a day it'll be sunday, and i'll still do like pushups or something. i cant help it. i've been going to the gym twice a day 6 days a week for like the past month.. cant imagine going once anymore. i'll wake up at 5am if need be, then go at 11pm if i need to.
