With all the Hip Hop Dead, Where are the real MC's, Over rated, Under Rated, etc.

Lets just focus on what's going on in the industry to, the music that is & was. These artist today are doing some creative thing, whether it be wack or not. Let's focus on that. Souja Boy created a dance and got hot off of Myspace, WOW!!. Lupe F. hit the scene talking abou skateboarding, WOW. Nelly has officially Fallen of the Hip Hop Map, Finally. Chamillion aint just underground anymore. The Game revived the West Coast. E-40 & Snoop nolonger has to take the brunt of the presure. Common won his 1st award on TV, Finally. Kanye out sold 50 cents, that's deep. etc...

I agree a lot of good stuff is goin down. Some real good albums dropped this year. I have no complaints. A lot of good aritst. Even some commerical ones. But sometimes people feel like all theses guys suck and have probably only heard 2 or 3 songs to base judgment off.

Kanye has a track where he sounds like Lupe F. Hell it make even be Lupe. "Do you think about me now and then"...

That track, Good Life and I believe its number 9 are the best tracks on the album..Its too bad he only had 13 tracks on the entire album...That suck for real..

I was feelin and still bump all of the songs except Drunk and Hot Girls. Can't believe he put that on the album. It's a funny song to listen to every once in a while. Yeah number 9 is Flashing Lights, the beat is rediculous.

And Everything I am is a dope song. Common passed on that beat. He coulda made a real nice song with that beat.

Drunken Girls is two times better than the track with Lil wayne..They both really sucked on that song..

Jigga's putting out a new album? I take back what I said, I'm expecting good thigns...Ignorant **** was supposed to be on The Black Album and its a dope track, Roc Boys is decent and Blue Magic is hot (it's grew on me)....hip hop shall continue to florish.

I haven't heard Cham's but if it is anything like Sound Of Revenge, I will probably cop it...

I have no clue about a new album from Jay..He needs to focus on keeping business straight and his artist satisfied if you ask me..

I love that Blue Magic...He brought his flow back to the south...That style of flow is the norm here in Houston. I didn't or wouldn't have expected that from Jay Z..

Well that Blue Magic track seemed to me like he was flowing like Rakim. His album drops Nov 6th I think have heard just two songs. I pass judment after I hear the album in it's entirety.

Kanye's album is nice, I've been listening to it everyday. I agree that the Mos Def track is the worst one, I deleted it after the first time I heard it. Wayne's verse on Barry Bonds was garbage, other than that it's grown on me.

Ear Drum is another really good recent release. I'm satisfied with whats out now.

I thought Ear Drum was the best album of the year and still do. The balance of subject matter and the lyricism is what makes it so good. And his flow has vastly improved.

Well I guess my standards are a little higher than your are. You have to understand that when I say things like "hip hop nowadays" I am generalizing. I don't mean every last one, there are a few cats still doing it right but very few compaired to years past.

I think that hip hop, like every other art form, should grow and expand instead of staying stagnant and regressing. Mc's should be getting better and better not worse. You said=

Regardless of how wack you may think some guys are, these artists today are putting out some creative ****..The hooks are crazy, wild and just simply creative. Souja Boy is wack lyrically but this young cat has taken the "world" by storm with that superman ****..I was just Downtown yesterday and I saw a little "white" boy with heads phone on doing this crazy dance..What dance you ask? That superman ****..he was going hard if I may add...

Art = Creativity....
