I have to say seeing this DVD bought a tear to me eye. A film which was leaps and bounds ahead of it's time and was poorly received at the box office during its time, when by all rights it should have been a roaring success. The 20th anniversary DVD not only goes back to revist this awesome film, but with Doulby Digital Surround Sound and digital graphics, it also comes with a second CD loaded with goods - covering the making of Tron, the conceptual sketches of the characters, the models, the scenery, covers the music, all of it. I was thoroughly impressed.
Impressed enough to go out and search the web on the games based on Tron.
For anyone who actually liked Tron and wanted to play light cycles but being confined to a ****ty Atari 2600 which didn't cut the mustard, thanks to modern day computing we can now bring a virtually identical clone of the game, as you see in the movie.
Here's a few links I found (I'm still searching btw):
http://website.lineone.net/~planetride/lightcycles.htm
http://www.gltron.org/
http://www.pimpworks.org/~squirrl/spaceparanoids.html
Just to get the ball rolling... more as they come.
