Jay-Z is whack. He needed a bunch of guests on his Hard Knock Life album to make me say it's good. All his other albums are mediocre or garbage including the over rated Reasonable Doubt. American Gangster wow that sounds gay more like American ***ster.

Stop listenin to rap all together. It makes no sense hardly any rapper lives the life they talk about. Why would you care anyway? It makes you feel better if a man lives what he raps about?

Because I could give two ****s what anyone says on a record is real or fabritcated. If it's hot it's hot.

By his logic, if he doesn't live that life he shouldn't listen to Jay's music either.

But seriously, yeah, if it's hot it's hot and I'll bump it.

Respect any man that will come out on a CD and say what the **** they want. That's why I like underground so much.. and Chamillionaire is a ****ing champ. Even though his style doesn't match the **** he talked about on his new CD, it was a gutsy ****ing move to rap about what the **** is wrong with our country.

Good man.

You're right but Cham is still young and will be a bigger legend than Jay-Z when Cham retires.

It's not bad, the beat is kind of different. Jay brings life to the track like usual. I heard on the radio that people close to him were disappointed with the album. I'm not expecting much.

Thats the complete opposite of what I've been hearing from the listening sessions and reviews. Every preview/Review said its insane, what station did you hear that on?

Read this preview on American Gangster, sounds like a great album is coming.

"It’s an album that should morph into an event, where fans of the Brooklyn native will commemorate and doubters will likely be silenced."

TRUTH, have low expectations or you're going to be let down. He says the album is a mix between Reasonable Doubt and Blueprint....does Roc Boys or Blue Magic sound like anything from either of those albums?

And Blue Magic blows..

How did that album end up again?

Tons of previews from listening sessions saying its great is whats pumping me up. But who knows. Personally I like Blue Magic, that song grew on me with each listen.(thats honest too, not just saying it becaue i'm a fan) I think Roc Boys is cool too. I don't think it will be a Blueprint/Reasonable doubt(because you can't remake an old classic exactly) but it could possibly be another classic album from Jay-Z. I'm not saying definitley but it might...

-Smoke, you definitley might be right too. It wouldn't be the first time an album was hyped as a classic and turned out to be average. So I see where your coming from...

When did that happen? and when is American Gangster going to be released?

it was at some party jay-z tried to front on Terror squad so Pun smashed a bottle over his head and put his gun to jays chest

Nas apparently as a response to Jay Z’s "The Takeover" on his album, which implicates you and Pun and includes the lyrics: "Call yourself gangsta but you were begging for pardon that night in Carbon when Terror Squad flipped on your squadron tried to front on their checks till Pun put a gun to your chest."

Fat Joe: We gotta hear it but damn, what a way to put me right in the middle of the beef huh? We don’t comment on that, that's old news. Like I said all the negative energy all that sh*t you can throw that out the window.
Nas is crazy. No question that we are allies with Nas Escobar. We love Nas. I almost named my son after Nas. As far as him and Jay Z with the beef: that’s they stuff. Until somebody tries to involve me in that sh*t, that’s it. I ain’t got no problem with the whole Rocafella. It’s well documented. Everybody keeps trying to get me to talk about that sh*t in every interview. Why don’t they ask Jay Z that stuff? I read his interveiws, nobody asks him. If you interview him, ask him.
