"Bob Sapp made his first public appearance in Tokyo since getting KO'd by Mirko "Cro Cop" Filipovic in Saitama on 3/30. Sapp wore a pirate patch over his right eye (the eye that suffered a broken eye socket) and said that he would be willing to confront Mirko in a PRIDE ring, saying "With that policeman guy, I'll fight him again and finish him." Sapp said that Mirko got lucky with his straight left punch and that the punch was a one-in-10,000 shot of KO-ing him.

I think Sapp i lieing. I would give that punch odds more like 1-4 of being a K.O.

I'm not surprised of that statement, that it was a lucky punch. all i can say that sapp is a bad looser. imo that wasn't a lucky punch, mirko first kicked to sapps body to put his guard down and then the straight left--- classic combination, if anybody says that this was a lucky punch then you have to say that every KO is a lucky punch.
about a pride match between mirko and sapp..... hmmm??? i think mirko will win, not that easy as it was, but i think mirko got the skills to win also with mma pride rules. but against a guy who has sapps weight anything can happen, one mistake and it could be over.

Sapp got KTFO and is a wus for not admitting that he got owned.

Sapp is fun to watch, but he's not showing a lot of class by making up excuses for his loss. I don't think his performance merited a K-1 rematch with Cro-Cop at all. I think Sapp has a better chance if this were an MMA match.

Mirko vs Sapp MMA? No way, NO ****ING WAY. Sapp should finaly fight someone like Erickson or Bobish. SOmeone CLOSE to his size.

Mirko is an amazing althlete. K-1, MMA....doesn't matter. And one thing I love about Mirko....he always fights big names.

I could have barely put that better myself. In no way does a behemoth like that prove who the better fighter is or what the best techniques are.

Sapp is a big oversized dummy. What an idiot. I can't believe the lack of class on his part. One in 10,000 chance? Please.

This was no fluke. Mirko is one of the best strikers in the world. Sapp got hit point blank by a top K-1 striker. He took Mirko's skills for granted and paid the price. There's no denying that Cro-Cop is one dangerous man.
