View Full Version : Title GEL Training Gloves
egonct 10-10-2007, 03:25 PM I am looking for a new pair of gloves for bag work as well as sparring. Does anyone have any experience with the Title GEL Gloves? http://store.titleboxing.com/title-gel-hook-and-loop-world-training-gloves.html
My hands are small and the Everlast training gloves i have, http://store.titleboxing.com/titleboxing-everlast-semi-pro-velcro-training-gloves.html leave too much room for my hands to move in the glove. These have been the only gloves I've used so any help would be great.
SpeedKillz 10-10-2007, 03:28 PM best training gloves i have ever used! i am gonna get the bag gloves as i hear they are great as well. 20oz gloves and they look like 12's. def buy them...

greengloves 10-10-2007, 09:04 PM Are the prices in canadian or american? those weighted bag gloves seem pretty sweet
egonct 10-10-2007, 09:36 PM I assume you're talking about the prices at titleboxing.com. Those are American, the company is out of Kansas.
mrh1275 10-11-2007, 03:29 AM the ringside imf gel bag gloves are also awesome

the weighted bag gloves are also awesome. they each weigh 40 ounces total with all the weights in them. i use them like 3 days out of the week and the other days i use the gel gloves. the weighted ones are def worth the investment. i would use them daily but they are fallin apart so i am tryin to conserve them cuz at the moment i cant afford new ones. but they are great as well!
egonct 10-11-2007, 07:16 PM So got a call from title boxing saying that both the gloves and a de bag i ordered are backordered until december. Anyone else been ****ed over by titleboxing.com? cause my last order they never shipped until I called them about a week or 2 later to complain. Guess its time to search internet for another place to buy from....recommendations?

how does the ringside imf tech compare to the title GEL gloves?
rj_ct 10-12-2007, 12:44 PM the imf gloves take it up the butt.
i don't know, but i really like the ringside stuff i've used, which is only mitts, speed, and de bags. they make quality stuff is what i'm getting at.
egonct 10-12-2007, 12:53 PM thats what i've heard...that ringside has really surpassed everlast at least in terms of quality of gear. I'm not sure how title compares with ringside though.
rj_ct 10-12-2007, 01:43 PM sorry about the user name similarity, brah. i knew you posted on here, but didn't know your name when i signed up. i've been rocking the rj_ct in internet land for a hot minute now.

i read a review dont remember were that said that the tech compared to the title gel where really similar, both very good, but the difference is that the tech lasts longer. anyone knows if this is true??...cos the gel ones are cheaper and imo look nicer =P... :boxing:

I have both. The IMF gloves don't protect the hand as much (mine are 16 oz vs. 20 oz. for the Gel gloves) and they seem to pack a bigger wallop. I use the Gel gloves for drills and bagwork and the IMF's for sparring. The IMF's are hard and dense like Grants or Reyes. They are basketball-hard compared to Everlasts. Both are good gloves.
Ramamaiden 10-13-2007, 08:08 PM i think i will buy the title gel ones =P
they are cheaper and looks nicer and still are very good. thanks ;)

u have the bag gloves? how many oz? they dont say that on titleboxing...im gonna buy 2 pairs of gloves...i already started a thread for that...and the gel gloves in considering them but im a lightweight and my trainer told not to use more than 14 Oz, and like i said they dont say their weight at least in bag ones...
they do in training ones, and i dont know what to do ; buy a 14 oz gel or a pro-mex ones?
What do you think?
Thanks
