Dead set guys, how far do you think he can go?

I think he is rushing too quick into the deep end.......i think they need to have him fight 4 or so competitive fights before taking on the big guns...reason being that even if he wins, he'll have to fight other top champions and that is where i think he'll come undone (as its too quick).

dynamite fighter though.

Will hold one belt. I like the guy. But his defence is **** house, one of the worst in the world. He gets hit so often. He has a head like a brick but another down side is he cuts easy. Well i hope he does well but i can see him getting KTFO soon.

well its obvious they want another gatii....but why not make him that way with other contenders instead of attempting to make him like gatti against seasoned champs like diaz?

He's got good heart and an exciting style - a style that'll make him a lot of fans and money hopefully.

He needs to work on his defence though or he might end up a cripple.

as you guys know im a major katsidis man..

i like the thought of guys like guzman and pac stepping up in weight to fight him.. he's a huge lightweight hitting more like a middle so i give him a great punchers chance against any little guys who like to trade.

juan diaz i think is probably the fight i wouldnt like to see him take right now..

how far can he go? i think he can be a real star and will hold and win a few different belts over the next couple of years.

I agree Ult. He really needs a jab, if he had one he could at least keep them at bay. But, in his last fight he was a one handed fighter. I do think he needs a new trainer. I couldn't believe the **** Smith was telling him in the corner during that fight. But he's one that everyone down under should get excited about, because he has the balls to fight in the states and he'll always go to the line.

Sure he might have more power than Gatti, but I think that's a premature statement "He's better than Gatti".

Gatti's records not that impressive, Gatti's known for his wars with micky ward if it wasnt for that trilogy i bet half the people that know him now wouldnt have heard of him

gatti could box back in his day.. it was only towards the back end of his career that people thought of him as only a blood and guts warrior with nothing else going for him. he won some titles. he could fight.

That's not true Gatti had a name before the Ward Fights. Ruleas, Robinson, Patterson, Rodriguez, Manfredy were all entertaining fights on HBO. Gatti had boxing ability but chose to brawl.

Katsidis has the world at his feet! He has an all-action style and always comes to fight and was a huge hit with the American fight fans in last fight against Pino southpaw. I'm a little concerned that Katsidis takes too much punishment. He and his team need to work on his defence before next fight. Health is something you simply cannot buy in Boxing. Other than that he does seem to have the goods to reign for a long time.
