I bet Rashad beats him, and badly if not brutally.

bought tickets to the event this morning. excited about being there, however im not all that impressed with the card. i will be surprised if it sells out. the fighter payroll will be low, and ppv sales will be as well. at least i think so unless things change. which i hope they do. i cant believe the smucks on ebay trying to sell tickets to the event. example 50-78 dollar tickets(face value) are trying to be sold for 4 times the amount. floor seats valued at 500 are trying to be sold at 1200. that **** pisses me off to no end. **** those guys who try and make a profit off of the ufc. at this event you would have to be crazy to pay anything above the face value. i hope those ****bags dont sell them. also they try and sell the password to buy tickets early (today) , before the public on saturday. thats a crime as well. considering its free to sign up for the ufc newsletter, and you get the password with the free subscription to the newsletter. password is rogan for those of you who dont get the newsletter. anyway, i just had to vent that.

Fair play to Bisping for taking this fight at fairly shot notice, its a big step up in class though.

I think Evans will out wrestle him and take him down pretty often in the fight.Bisping has good stand up so its not a foregone conclusion.

Evans ud win.

Bisping took this fight 2 get out of losing 2 Hamill again, but he will still end up losing 2 another wrestler so its all good.
hope Rashad comes out fast and KO's Bisping in the first, if he can't do it in the first i believe it will go down like Rashads other fights where he takes him down and does nothin for the last 2 rounds.

They have this fight up on the fantasy site already?

Why the **** hasn't Bisping gone down to 185 yet, Rashad is too strong for Bisping and he will win a lay n pray UD.

Bisping seems to be the good size for 205 to me, he's 6'2 not too much fat oh him. But yeah, he would be much bigger in MW, but thats 20lbs he would have to drop.

He's going to find out the hard way that he doesn't belong in the LHW division. I will ****ing have a stroke if he managages to pull an upset here. Like 2swells said, stranger things have happended in the past!

Hamills out for 6 months with a pulled MCL or ACL or something. Evans will punish Bisping.

I don't think you can pull your MCL or ACL I thought you tore those

I heard Hamill tore one of the above DURING the Bisping fight

this is Bisping's first time fighting away from his country in a UFC #'ed event (UF finale don't count)

so hopefully the judging won't be a factor.

Hamill Tore His ACL b4 the fight even happend and still kicked Bispings Ass.Hamill also posted on his website that it wasn't as severe as first thought and that he would b back in time for the December fight card, IMO Bisping wants no part of hamill anymore and is ducking him.
2 close this off i also think Hamill can beat rashad

I hope Rashad whoops this arrogant fool who got gift decision in his last fight... he needs to know he isnt anywhere near as good as he thinks he is.. I would love to see a guy like loiseau KO him..

The two judges who gave Bisping the win over Hamill were from the NSAC.

The rookie British judge gave the fight to Hamill.

I have alot of confidence in Rashad for this fight. I just don't see anything that Bisping can do to win this one. Conventional wisdom says striking, but I believe Evans can hang with him in this department (maybe not outstrike him, but hold his own) and his ground game is much superior (though Hamill probly is the better wrestler of the two). Rashad is a pretty complete fighter and I believe he will stop Bisping.

didn't know he was on the UFC 66 .. cool stuff

looking at the Bisping-Hamill fight again .. it really isn't that big of a screw job

Hamill dominated the first .. yeah .. every judge gave Hamill round one

sure Hamill got lots of take downs in the later rounds . but he wasn't doing anything else.

hopefully Rashad can get the W. Between him and Bisping I've only seen 3 fights and they were all of Bisping's so its kinda hard for me to throw out a prediction.

Watch it again and u will see the screw job. I think Hamill won the last round because of octagon control, Bisping was mostly running away and more takedowns. Topic is old but Thought I'd let ya know how I think The Hammer won. Hamill is also "in shock" that he didnt get a rematch with Bisping right away because he's fighting Evans now. I think That Cunt Bisping is ducking Hamill.

MJ406

the most disapointing thing about the fight was the disparity of the judging.

one judge had Hamill win every single round .. no way that happened .. he easily won the first though.

but yes he took Bisping down more .. but what did he do in that 3rd round once he took him down? nothing .. Bisping did a good job in getting back to his feet.

call it a screw job .. but Matt Hamill has to do more then just take him down ... you know the judging is pretty ****ed up when the only judge that had Hamill winning had him winning every single round

Bisping did win the fight .. and based on the above thats why

I was pissed as hell .. especially what Bisping said post fight .. what a prick. I think its pretty unanamous that Bisping sounded like a complete douche during his post fight interview

how he outboxed him .. yada yada

*Hamill is recovering from his injury .. hope he can get a rematch though.

is Bisping seriously going to drop to 185?

regardless I hope he goes down and soon .. I can't stand him.

2swell k-wells
10-07-2007, 08:46 PM
Yeah Hamill's recovering but he quoted he still wanted to fight. Bisping at 185 would surely spice up desperatly needed talent MW division. The Count vs The Spider would sell major tickets and ppv buys, maybe a year down the road.

aight thats coo. Silva vs Bisping in 2008

still hope Rashad Evans can get Bisping his first loss .. I could actually go to UFC 78 .. would be pretty sweet obviously.

im not a fan of Bisping or anything

but look at the Kongo vs Asuaero Silva fight.

Silva took Kongo down numerous times throughout the fight and didn't win. kind of like the Hamill fight in the sense of getting take downs .. but not really taking advantage of them.

I know I got a Godzilla avitar .. but the above does make sense.

What did Bisping do to win the fight?

MJ406
10-07-2007, 09:13 PM
well he did enough to win on 2 scorecards

so obviously something

paying the judges hasn't been ruled out.

Well you said you thought Bisping won and stated reasons why Hamill should've lost. I was just wondering why you think Bisping should've won. Was it the back peddeling? Or maybe all the punches that his Hamill's arms? I gave round 3 to Bisping, barely. It's the only round he really landed clean strikes in....

MJ406
10-07-2007, 09:31 PM
still you can't argue the take down point

because Silva did the same thing vs Kongo and lost that one.

yeah it was the back peddling.

The 2nd Round Bisping's striking was okay. it wasn't consistantly good .. but he hit him clean a couple of times.

If Hamill really got "screwed" .. he should have no problem next time right?

* I never said Bisping SHOULD have won .. just that looking back on it I can see why. 2 out of the 3 judges had Bisping winning

his take down recovery (getting up from them .. and occasional striking .. even though overall yes Matt Hamill cut his face up)

MJ406
10-07-2007, 09:35 PM
I don't have to say I thought Bisping won. it happened.

its not a hypothetical ... Bisping won the fight. look how it goes down in the record books.

if you don't knock your opponent out . or make them tap out

be it in a 3 round fight or 5 round fight

your at the mercy of the judges.
