At White Hart Lane this evening we saw 8 goals in a thrilling encounter. Spurs were celebrating their 125th Aniversary and introduced past players before the game and showed off 5 trophies we won in the sixties under the late great Bill Nicholson. We were the first team to do the double that century in 60-61, the first british team to win a trophy in Europe in 63 beating Benfica 5-1 in the final, league cup,F.A Cup and then the 1st ever U.E.F.A Cup becoming the first british team to win 2 different European trophies.

Everyone was excited before the game and a capacity crowd were all waving flags in anticipation of a win and getting our season off and running by climbing out of the relegation zone.

Spurs started brightly and looked in control early on and scored on 20 minutes from a corner with an unmarked Berbatov nodding in. It looked set to be a good night for the Spurs but the Villa had other ideas. Within 1 minute they were level with another Paul Robinson mistake gifting them a goal. This gave Villa a lot of confidence and started to play well they soon scored another with a bit of luck as well. Tottenham looked stunned an Villa were now the better team. They then scored another goal just before half time with the keeper kicking out into the Tottenham half, Kaboul completely out of position nodded it back to Agbonlahor who was one on one with Dawson, he took it past him and scored a brilliant goal to his credit. Half time 1-3 and Tottenham looked in trouble.

Second half Spur's dodgy defending gave away a stupid free kick and Gardner scored a beauty, but again Paul Robinson was to blame just shifting left behind his wall as he struck it and was only able to get a hand to it as it rocketed into the bottom corner. Spurs were dead and buried and there seemed no way back. Spurs fans were leaving the stadium in disgust and Maarten Jol looked like a man that knew this could be his last game in charge.

I was fuming but I had to admit the Villa fans made me laugh by singing Happy Birthday to you which was funny. Spurs then started to play some football. Bale gets down the wing and crosses for Defoe and he hits the post but the ball comes out for Chimbonda to squeeze it in 2-4, too little too late. Spurs were starting to come forward with Villa sitting back. Harewood then gives a stupid penalty away with a tackle on Bent and Robbie Keane slots it in. Then with 2 minutes left in injury time Tottenham get the ball in the box and it is bouncing around before coming out to Malbranque at the edge of the area who shoots but it hits Defoe and comes out to Kaboul who hits a rocket into the top corner. The players all then run over and jump on Jol in mass scenes of celebration. Maybe they just saved his job and this could be the start of a turnaround for us. All in all a thrilling encounter and probably the right result in the end.

Jol will be out of a job soon, just me.

It would be the best thing for Spurs.

HAHA What's just me mean
The best thing is for him to stay and finish what he started.

He has taken you lot as far you can go with him in charge. His laid the foundations (good ones), time to get someone in who will take you lot to the next level. Alot of top class managers would jump at the chance of managing Spurs at the minute. It would've been Mourinho's job if Chelsea hadn't put that clause in his compensation package.

I really believe he can take us further. We need King back but also need to learn to be able to play without him and cut out the stupid mistakes. I'm hoping for a top half finish this season, hopefully get U.E.F.A qualification again. This season was always gonna be harder than the last 2, look at the investments and changes that have gone on at other clubs. We were never gonna make top4 this year. There was a lot of bull**** talk my Spurs fans especially saying yeah were gonna do it this season and Arsenal are on the slide. Bollocks are they. I said at the beginning of the season they had a young team and weren't as good as they should have been the last 2 season's but were getting better and better and no way was we gonna finish above them Maybe had wenger left along with fabregas then that might have ****ed them up. I predicted Man City,Newcastle,Everton,Villa,Blackburn and Tottenham to be fighting it out for 5-8 and euro qualification.

You say you lot, so I take it you support another London team as you live there. Who do you follow. And what's this clause in Mourinho's contract

I certinatly do, i support two teams in fact. Millwall because of me Dad and Sunderland because of me Mum (Long story)

About time Millwall played Spurs in one of the cups, every year i dream that we get you lot in the 3rd round at the lane. I'd have a double handed wank if that ever happened.

I'll be going there with Sunderland instead till that happens.

The clause in Mourinho's contract stated that he couldn't mange another Premiership club this season, Mourinho had said to people close to him that the Spurs job was some thing he was very interested in, Obvisiously Spurs would love to have someone of Mourinho's stature to take over at Spurs. Chelsea caught wind of this and put the clause in the contract, Mourinho wasn't happy about and didn't want to sign. He did eventually. Spurs missed out on a golden opportunity.

Unlucky.

What the **** would you know gimp

Clearly I hit a nerve.

What would I know? What a stupid thing to say seeing as anyone that watched Spuds can see what a laughing stock they are. I know that Spuds are completely incapable of holding a lead. Last year they did it plenty of times, the most obvious being against Chelsea in the cup. Again against Arsenal which they then went on to repeat again this season, only Arsenal's pure class owned the Jew bastards instead of drawing. Also last week against Bolton. Against a dismal Fulham side, being 2-0 up and then 3-1 and STILL drawing, Against Sheff Utd last season, Newcastle last season, Reading last season & god knows how many times against Arsenal...and so on. Do you want me to continue...gimp?

Edit - And how the **** could I forget about Spuds being 2-0 up in the Carling cup and then Arsenal going on to get a draw, then ****ing you up at Ashburton Grove in the 2nd leg. Laughing stock = Spuds.

So basically . . . :owned2:

Clearly you never hit a nerve, if you had then you'd have known about it. Your'e obviously just a WUM and were trying to get a reaction so I gave an answer worthy of the post. Your'e obviously a GOON that thinks she's funny.
I know we haven't been able to hold a lead I said that first in my original post and that is one of the problems we need to address, although it doesn't help when you have someone of Ledley Kings quality out for nearly all last season and again so far this season. The only place we are considered a laughing stock is by the stupid immature Arsenal fans who have nothing better to do than try and wind up Spurs fans. Don't start with that American ****e talk of owned, you don't own me and never will. If that's a picture of you in your profile then you are one fat ugly mother****er, that seems to be struggling with all your limited brainpower and 2 hands just to manage a simple thing like a deck. Looking at you it's you and your ancestors that were owned. Maybe that's the reason for all that cheap fake gold jewellry.
