Who wins this fight and what will it be like?
My opinion is Roy pounds a UD because of overwhelming hand speed over Hopkins. I dont think you can knock Hopkins out.

It would probably be very similar to their first fight. I'm guessing a UD for Jones after a long 12 rounds. This would be a very interesting fight although it probably wouldn't be as exciting and live up to the hype.

Exactly, here is a fight that would be smart for Jones to take.

I'd take Jones by close decision in a bout more competitive than the first.

Jones should be able to out box him for 12 rounds. didn't Jones hurt his left hand the first time they faught? Maybe this fight would be easier than the first.

Roy KO's Hopkins at 175. His power is greater now and Hopkins won't be able to take the punches. I call Roy KOing B-Hop in the 9th round.

That was after the Gainer/Seda fight in Puerto Rico. I remember that was when Bernard Hopkins went up in Gainer's dressing room and fronted Jones. Everyone there said that Hopkins punched Jones or something like that.

Roy Jones would win by TKO within 9 rounds

the first fight was a shutout cause hopkins could'nt seem to get anything going. i think that would be different now though, it would still be a boring fight no doubt but i think hopkins would win more rounds cause he seems craftier now than he was back then. roy wins by ud, in a more competitive fight though.

I doubt it will be a boring fight just like the first fight...

You people are crazy if you think it will go just as the first fight went. Hopkins is not the same boxer he was, not even close. He fights the style he does not because of that fight, he made mistakes stylistically in that fight and he's corrected them. And he hasn't lost since. Roy isn't what he was back then either, but it's for the worse.
Basically, at this point in Hopkins career, if someone wants to beat Hopkins, they're going to have to knock him out. No one is going to be able to go out there and out box Bernard for 12 rounds, he's became too good and too smart of a boxer. If someone wants to beat Bernard Hopkins, they're going to have to put him on his back. As smart as he fights and as good as his chin is, I don't think anyone can. Certainly at light heavyweight, it'd increase the likelihood, but i'd still say that the odds are with Hopkins in any fight 175 and down.
