The Jake 03-30-2003, 04:07 AM I write this from the desk of my godfather's PC up in Sydney, Australia.
Tomorrow, I go to the consulate for my immigration interview.
I've slept most of today so I'm a little more at rest but right now, this is the most stressful moment of my life. For the outcome of tomorrow's meeting will determine whether or not I can finally come home to Arju or if we will be apart for more months processing papers. It will determine whether we finally get on with the rest of our lives or whether or not I go home back to Melbourne, rotting in tech support hell and sharpening my knives and cleaning and polishing my guns.
The thought of something going wrong is just too painful to bear.

The interview went well. We only need to send them one more piece of paper and I'm in. YAAAAY :)
Shadow - it's not automatic. But you are elligible. INS and the Dept. of Homeland Security has to assess your case and determine whether or not you're ok to let in the country, your likelihood of becoming a burden on the system, whether you're a terrorist or a security risk, etc. etc.
Should be home soon.
