Hands Of Stone...1st round KO. AntonTheGreat 09-30-2007, 11:32 AM Hands Of Stone...1st round KO. you are ****ing delusional. Panamaniac 10-05-2007, 12:16 PM you are ****ing delusional. You asked his opinion, he gave it to you. What's with the attitude?! My opinion is as predictable as two following one: No contest. Ortiz would just be another victim during Durán's "reign of terror" as lightweight champion. Durán would mop the floor with Ortiz within five rounds. Am I delusional too? Phantasm 10-05-2007, 12:27 PM Duran wins, though I dont know if it's as lopsided as everyone thinks. They were scheduled to fight each other according to Duran's book, but his handlers actually didnt want Duran to fight him, as they felt stylisticly, Ortiz posed some danger and Duran wouldnt fare as well against him. Nonetheless, I feel Duran would have pressured him and ultimately won by tko (cuts) or UD. I love Ortiz, one of PR's greatest, but theres no shame in losing to Duran. At the end of the day, while most reasonable observers (yourself included) agree that Durán would have defeated Ortiz, they (we) disagree on how. Peace.
