The base pay is understandable. Jardine is still under the TUF base pay contract, and I believe that was either forest's last fight under his current contract, or it was his first fight under his new contract. Whatever the case, when forest and jardine renew, they are looking at some major paycheck increases.

... Oh crap, jardine's fight with liddell was ACTUALLY the last fight on his TUF contract, he's definitely getting a good base pay boost at renewal.

BTW peoples, just cause you have a expensive opponent doesn't mean that you contract is voided and you're given a big fat paycheck instead. Contracts are there for a reason.
