when the khan - lawton fight was announced for october 6th, i just assumed that khan would not be fasting during ramadan this year.

however, according to FWs site he has been, which basically means he can't eat or drink between sunrise and sunset (which started at around 5:00am to 7:30pm but has been getting gradually shorter).

if this is true, how do you think it will affect khan's performance?

according to the article he won't be fasting on the day of the weigh-in and the fight itself, but his training routine must have been severely disrupted.

No...with Frank Warren making sure Khan never gets faced with someone who has even a punchers chance...Khan can't lose.

well i don't think you can say that about limmond he defenitly put up a good fight wether frank warren was expecting it or not amir barley recovered from that knock down....... the fact that he had has twice the amount of fights as khan does mean that in any normall fight he would be the underdog...... but still its amir khan so everyone expects him to win i just hope he doesnt rush the boat and gets more experience before he goes for the biggest fight...... i can imagine him figting someone he wasnt ready for yet getting his ass beat and then him never comeing back..... if he loses that aoura of invicibilty some people seem to see in him it will be very bad for his reputation...... not that im not a fan its just i know that he can be hurt and can lose that doesnt mean he will if he makes the right decisions and itmust make things hard when no one expects you to lose even if you should be the underdog

He never had an aura of invincibility always seemed beatable to me. He keeps his left low and i have always been suspicious of his chin and i was proven right when he fought Limond.

limond was a super featherweight 3 fights before the khan fight with what 8 KO's out of 28 fights? he's featherfisted khan needs a to move up in opposition slowly work on his defense and only start fighting top fringe level contenders in about a year and half then he might be ready for a world title.

when your dead your dead accept the facts and stop hoping for something where there is not a shred of scientific evidence, enjoy life it`s a break from non exsistence, so amir stop staving yourself and enjoy your food.

i think fasting helps you appreciate that there are hungry people in the world and perhaps that it will mean you're a better person by being mroe generous to the poor rather than just going to heaven.
